For my work I use a badge and have extra set of keys that I use. This is a versatile key/badge holder that works great. It feels really well constructed and durable, not cheap feeling at all. The clip is strong and sturdy. The pull out wire is also solid. Overall, very happy with it.

It's exactly what I wanted. It's sturdy and holds my badge. It stretches and I've pushed it's limit a few times and stretched it pretty far, but it never broke. The size is perfect.

I got this because I use a swipe card everyday for my job. This works like a charm to easily move about. However, mine didn't last long. I used it for about 8 months before the wire snapped, and needed to change it over to my new one.I'll buy this again because the price is great, and with the amount of times I used it, it held up, but having a retractable card holder lasting over a year would be nice.

I use these for my work. The ones they give us at work wear out in a year or so. So far these are pretty solid performers. I'm not sure what the extra clip is for. But it doesnt bother me.

I've been using these same badge clips for probably a decade, lol. They do tend to break after 2-3 years, but they're cheap enough that it's worth it. I've never been a fan of lanyards, so these are my clips of choice to hold my badges!

I'm someone who frequently needs to scan my badge at work (10 times a day when on shift isn't irregular for me!). So I put pretty decent strain on the threads. I purchased a pair of these four months ago, and both had their threads thin out to nearly breaking within that time frame. The plastic and metal held up well in that time, and so did the winding mechanism, but each one only took about 2 months for me to start worrying about them breaking and losing my badge!If you frequently need to pull your card out to use it, I would recommend searching for a different product. But for light use, or as a simple clip, it might still be a viable option.
