Good laptop with bad fingerprint reader
Overall, good performance and happy with the laptop. My only complaints are the fingerprint reader and being forced to use a Microsoft account to activate Windows. I've recently used the free Windows 11 upgrade option on 2 of my computers, neither required a Microsoft account. It bothers me this computer did.The bigger complaint is the fingerprint reader. The reader on my Pixel phone works perfectly 99.99% of the time, and it's older tech than this laptop. The fingerprint reader on this laptop works correctly about 50% - 60% of the time. IF it's a software issue, Dell needs to push an update. Otherwise they should talk with Google about getting a better parts supplier.
