The feeder seems to be a well thought out machine. I am using the hood on mine in case it rains while I am gone. It seems like the food that I use might get hung up on the ramp if it was being rained on even though the feeder shoots out the food really well. Perhaps I am a little overly concerned about rain getting on the ramp, but I am even putting a little strip of electrical tape or something to cover the very slight gap between the back of the feeding ramp hood and the body of the feeder. I am very pleased with the amount it holds, the ease of operation, the lastability of the battery, and the power options.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:It was raccoon proof

I’m still working to get it set up right…. either throws very little food or a ton of food. Works as designed but haven’t cracked to code for feeding 9 koi.

Great Feeder

Delivers way too much food for even an 1800 gallon pond. Product needs to be fully developed and tested with assorted ring sizes. All the other nice features are wonderful, except the Setting for smallest amount of food is way too much. In other words, it is NOT Functional.

So far, so good. Only have had it for a week but solar battery has remained fully charged and it distributes food on schedule. It also holds quite a bit of food.

Excellent feeder love it

Works great. I don't have to worry when we're gone for a while.
