Cleanliness is no longer just a virtue - it's an art form. This beautifully designed Borosilicate glass cruet corners the market, er… kitchen sink, with an aesthetically pleasing way to store and pour liquid dish soap. Put the plastic soap bottle away. You love cooking. Now you can love cleaning too.

Love it!
Works wonderfully and looks great at my sink! Great size too--not too big, not too small (I don't have to refill it too often, and I use it a lot!). I was afraid it'd be too small but it's perfect.**update 11/15/2011**Sad day today, my cat (who wasn't supposed to be up there!) knocked my lovely cruet into the sink and shattered it. I was afraid of that happening, as it is rather thin glass....but it's only 12 bucks, afterall, it's just that this glass is more delicate. If it was a regular drinking glass I'm sure it would've shattered as well. So I don't blame the item on weak manufacturing any more than I blame the people who make my drinking glasses. I love it so much that I'm still going to buy another one and I'm keeping it at 5 stars. But I am probably also going to get a rubber mat to put in the bottom of my sink to prevent this from happening again (and from breaking any of my dishes as well--I should've learned a long time ago, but I never loved any of my broken dishes or glasses as much as I loved this cruet!).

Not unbreakable but outlasts pump models
This is my second soap cruet. After many breaking attempts (not intentionally) I finally succeeded. It lasted over 2 years on my sink (I am a very clumsy person). The first one was bought to replace a "simple human" soap pump which I really like but lasted a litle over a year. Now, I am replacing, AGAIN, another simple human pump, which lasted 6 months. Yeah, I know I am stupid I bought that pump again hoping simple human had fixed their flaws after 2 years. Anyways, here I am back to this cruet. Just figured that, although it is also breakable, it outlasts the other good dispenser options on the market. I also liked the facts that it never drips (don't be affraid of the cap coming off. It won't.)Also, I ALWAYS disolve my detergent with water (and thought everyone did that too. It just makes it easier and faster to rinse off) so I never had problems waiting the soap to drip.PS: I also own two other larger bottles (which I use for keeping my canola and olive oils) for 4 years. Absolutely love them.

Love my soap dispenser
Love my soap dispenser. I'e been using it for a few weeks now and it works great. The spout hasn't fallen out when I turn it upside down to pour soap. A few reviews said the soap pours slowly, but I haven't found that this is true. As someone who is trying to eliminate/minimize plastic in my kitchen, this was a great find. I bought a glass/stainless steel one at IKEA but it broke pretty quickly and it really was slow to pour. The only thing about this product was that it was larger than I was expecting, so note the dimensions.

ITS GREAT!
Don't remember why I bought this but it sat on a shelf for a long time. I just happened to see it again and put it to use. ITS GREAT! It looks far better than the plastic bottle sitting their all the time. It stays clean without having soap always stuck to the sides. It pours well and you can easily dilute the soap in it as needed.Did I say it it looks cool!

is wonderful. I had a friend fill it for me
Unfortunately the first one I received was broken..but the second one..is wonderful.I had a friend fill it for me..and it works like a dream..I'm handicapped so it was getting more difficult to.hold on to a large soap container..this is exactly what I neded..It's unfortunate that it's made of glass however!I'd prefer.it were plastic but that's just me!!!

All glass
I'm not sure it's clear from the description: all of the parts of this are glass. There's no plastic or rubber. The top fits using gravity just like an antique wine decanter. The viscosity of the soap and its friction along the narrowing tube is what controls the amount dispensed. It's very easy to control. It's quite an elegant design (both visually and functionally), particularly when used with soaps with calmer colors without fluorescent pigments. We may get one for the bathroom, too.

Not long for this world.
I loved this cruet so much that I have bought three of them for myself. Why? Because the others broke. Easily. This is a very pretty soap cruet but it is also very dainty, so unless you have two kitchens and can put this in the "good kitchen" that you never use, I would recommend finding another soap dispenser. Now that the fourth cruet has broken, I am going to switch to one that can stand up to me. Maybe someone who has broken the top part of theirs would like to swap the top of mine for an intact bottom?

PERFECT for my kitchen!!!!
I bought this cruet to use for my liquid dish detergent in the kitchen. Yes, the soap doesn't just 'flood' out, but I have found that it doesn't need to. In fact, the way I use dish detergent, which is to wash/rinse off items before the dishwasher, it saves a lot of detergent. I didn't realize it, but a little of my dish detergent goes a LONG way. So, it looks good on the counter, and I don't waste detergent. Works for me!
