First of all, I’m really surprised by how high-quality the presentation of the packaging is. It came in a beautiful box with all the different bits and pieces, and the branding was very appealing. Getting so many different polish colors, nail art, decorations, and accessories for less than the price of what a manicure goes for these days already makes this purchase an incredible value for money.I did my nails immediately up upon getting the box, and my first impression is that I am very satisfied with the process. The nail polish was easy to put on, and the UV lamp worked very well to cure the polish. I did a very simple, one color manicure for myself, it was very simple, almost therapeutic. The only thing left I have to judge is how long the manicure itself lasts, but this will take time, because I am still a novice when it comes to doing my own nails. If the manicure doesn’t last, it might be a skill issue and not the quality of the polish. I’ll update once I feel I’ve gotten a good idea of longevity.

I got the Colors All Seasons bundle. The colors are great, definitely requires 2 coats but I think that’s standard for all gel polish. I attached a photo of my sample card I made for myself with 2 coats and Beetles top coat for each color.I will say for my own nails I prefer to use a better quality base and top coat for longevity and durability. I personally got the Vishine ones but the base and top coat from the kit work seem to work just fine. The top coat actually dries and doesn’t require any wiping so I like that. I just can’t speak on the longevity of them.Another thing with this polish is no matter how much you cure it, it doesn’t dry unless you put the top coat over it. I also can’t say much about this because I’m not sure if that’s normal for a gel polish or not since I’m not a professional and this is the only gel polish I’ve ever used.The bottles are very small, but It’s plenty to get you through at least a few uses of each color. Remember, this IS a budget friendly polish kit.Overall, I think that this is a great beginners polish that doesn’t break the bank. I will be buying more colors of these.

I have a bad habit of biting and picking at my nails. It's embarrassing and I wanted to stop. I got this kit and so far, no mail biting or picking! My nails are strong and much longer than before! I do better when I can't see how long they are. The gel cures under UV light so as soon as the top coat is done, I can go do things like scrubbing the dishes or gardening or cooking or giving the dog a bath and my nails stay pretty. I like the variety of colors. I chose to paint each nail tester with 3 coats, covering 1/3 each time so I could see what 1, 2 and 3 coats looks like and cured between coats. I took a sharpie and wrote the color code on the reverse. I ordered the HEMA free top coat and foundation coat set (white bottles) separately. They're for sensitive nails and I love them!Key points:- Use a thin, even coat for base, color and top coats!- Cure between coats- All coats are tacky except for top coat after curing. THIS IS NORMAL. DO NOT WIPE.- Use SPF on hands, fingers, toes (yes it works for pedis too) and wrists. I use a lotion style SPF 50 and wait 30 mins minimum before starting. The first time I didn't use SPF and my fingers, cuticles and tips of my fingers had a burning/stinging sensation when using the light. I watch a show on Netflix or Disney to pass the time.- I also bought a gel remover and liquid latex separately on Amazon (not beetles) because I hate the smell of acetone/nail polish remover. Gel remover works great but don't get any on your skin, it burns like acid. I'm not allergic to latex so this really helps my polish look clean.- This kit comes with a cuticle softener (great value and very helpful!) And a cuticle oil (I do better with lotion.) I had to wait 48 hours between my first cuticle removal and my first paint session.- The nails MUST be clean and dry. After applying SPF and waiting for it to soak in, take a rubbing alcohol wipe or a cotton ball dipped in rubbing alcohol and wipe each nail off. Then take one of the pink little squares and wipe off any dirt.- Shape your nails BEFORE you paint them.I have used the included nail art items however the only ones that stay on are the pearls for me.- Clean off any excess nail polish/top or bottom coats BEFORE you cure! I use the metal cuticle tool included to scrape away any excess.- The UV lamp can get warm.- If you use the nail art items, those metal tweezers (included) are your best friend!- Yes, the bottles are small but they will last you if you use thin even layers.- The odor is still present but very low considering the alternative.100% would recommend and would buy as a gift! It's a great starter kit for beginners!!

The polishes have some really great colors. They are small bottles but this is a beginner kit and I prefer trying them on before I commit to a huge bottle. None of these are one coat wonders. You will need multiple coats for most. The black and navy had surprisingly decent coverage for one coat though. I didn’t prep the polish hearts or add a base or top layer so the picture shows them at their basic level. The colors are more see through when held up to the light even though they look fairly pigmented against a surface like a table. I cured everything at 120. I’m using this kit for false press on nails, so I won’t be putting the polishes on my real nail. If you came here to find out about allergies this isn’t the review for you. I will say the light is really bright and after a full cure some of the polishes are tacky on the fake nails. You will need the top coat.

I absolutely love this kit. The colors are vibrant and the quality is great! I wish the bottles of polish were bigger and the over was bigger too but all in all it has already saved me money by doing it myself and looks just as fancy

Great variety. So many nail color options. Great product for beginners to try out. The lamp is actually very good. I bought it for 11 y/o daughter who is very into doing nails and they look very good. No air bubbles.
