This stuff is the best that I have found for after sun care. Last year my husband and son were in a fishing tournament and had forgotten to put on sunscreen. By the end of the day they both came home really burnt. My son got it really bad on his face and nose. So I went to Walmart to buy something to help give them some relief. Everything was pretty much sold out except one really small tube of the SunBurnt Gel. I almost didn't buy it because it was kind of pricey and pretty small. I decided though to give it a try since it was my only option. I put it on both my husband and son and immediately they felt a huge relief from the pain. They said the gel instantly took the heat out of the burn and cooled it down. Then by the next morning I was so shocked to see that they both looked like they never even got burned at all and neither of them were in pain. A few days later my son did start to peel a little on his face. So I used the rest of the sun burnt gel and it actually took the peeling away. His face looked normal again within minutes and didn't peel again after that. My husband didn't even peel at all. I was thinking maybe we just got lucky because there was no way this product had those results in one day, but I found out this year that it definitely was the sunburnt gel that helped. This year, right before summer I found this big bottle for a great deal. I remembered paying alot for just a small tube last year. I also wanted to try it again, so I decided to buy it and store it away until I needed it. Well last weekend my husband went fishing and forgot to put sunscreen on again. He came home burnt pretty bad. So we tried sunburnt gel again and the same thing as last year happened. By the next morning it was a huge improvement. This time he had to put it on twice, but we are still so amazed with how well this stuff works. For now on this is the only after sun care product that I will buy.

We are using this stuff not only to make homemade handsanitizer but I also mix it with a few drops to tea tree oil to prevent razor burn and in-grown hair follicles after shaving. It works great! Very healing and soothing. I have very sensitive skin and this even keeps my skin from getting irritated from all the rubbing alcohol in hand sanitizer. I have used other brands of aloe vera gel advertised for sun burns and this product is far superior to the ones I have tried. I recommend trying this product.

I found a small tube of this at a retail store last year. It was absolutely amazing. Not sticky like plain aloe. I did use it about every 30 minutes or so, instead of as the directions state. I was super sunburned, we're talking red like a lobster. The gel made me feel so much better and by the next morning, the pain was gone as was most of the redness. I couldn't find it in stores this summer, so I was very glad to find this bottle here. It is a really awesome product. Lifetime customer.

So my sunscreen didn’t work - I was riding a wave runner for a couple hours on a sunny day at the lake and got a sunburn same day - I applied other aloe I had in the house and it didn’t take away the pain. Then I found this brand in the house, thankfully I had some left, and it soothed it, took away the pain, and made it so much better overnight. This really is the best stuff, likely because of the calendula.

I am very fair skinned. I get burned way too easy. As a kid the sun would give me second degree burns and i would bubble all over the place. Took 18 years before I could get a semi tan. Well then had a worry about some cancer with a few moles. So I use a high spf sunblock and still get burned. Anyway, this stuff, yeah kick aloe or anything else like that to the curb. This will make my skin feel better from the moment I put it on. The next day my skin is actually recovering. This to be is a God send.

Great for burns and relieves that tight stretched feeling with sunburn

This is hands down the BEST stuff for a sunburn. I have put this on myself and my kids when we were fried after a day in the sun. They never complained of a sunburn and we continued using it after they got out of the bath/shower until they no longer looked red. This stuff is a miracle worker if you ask me. They used to sell it at Walgreens, but I haven’t seen it there anymore, plus it’s cheaper on a amazon anyway.

The first time I bought this product was on a family vacation at the beach. The kids couldn’t put enough sunscreen on. Never new how bad they were until we went back to our condo, I immediately went looking for products. We applied this product on at night and my son woke up ready to go to schlitterbahn the next day. He still had a sunburn but it was not near as red and he was completely painless. We of course used tons of sunscreen a long sleeve swim shirt and a huge sun hat after that. I swear by it now.
