Good comfort, but does not stay cool for long.
They do not stay cool for very long. Maybe five minutes. Very little filling in the pad, which makes them less noticeable under clothes.

Interesting concept but in practicality, I think better suited for use in other places
As of the writing of this review, there seems to be some discrepancy in the listing information and what is actually received. I think perhaps it’s a language barrier. The listing reads there are 5 sleeves and 2 gel packs included. In reality, it’s 2 gel packs, 2 fuzzy covers and one zipped storage bag. In any case at a current retail price of $7.99, I think it’s a good value regardless of the ambiguity. As far as the product itself, it’s um, interesting. The gel packs themselves are ones typical gel packs that one would expect they would be. The listing pictures indicate these can be used for both cold and heat compresses yet that’s not what the description says. Of note, there is nothing included with the pack which gives directions on how long to chill or heat the gels. One would need to go back to the online listing to see that. The fuzzy covers are again, interesting. I could better see these for use when perhaps resting them on ones tired eyes or other visible body parts. Which again, it’s shown for those uses in the online product listing pictures but yet not in the description.Maybe it’s just me, but using these fuzzy covers on ones nether region just seems a bit, off. Especially without specific instructions given on how to launder. Perhaps a different fabric type may be more suitable for use in that lower region.I do appreciate the reusable zippered plastic storage bag in which to keep these when not in use.

Mediocre heating/cooling performance
The covers of these gel pads are very soft, comfortable and a good size, but the cooling/heating longevity of the gel packs is mediocre at best. Also, found it difficult to get the gel packs back inside the covers because of the tight overlap in the covers.Cooling: After being chilled in the freezer, the gel pack stayed cold for only 5-10 minutes. Additionally, the thick cover muted the cooling effect significantly.Heating: The product did not come with any instructions, so I had to rely on the product page, which says to heat the gel pack in the microwave “for no more than 5 seconds.” Since 5 seconds had no noticeable effect, I heated the pack using consecutive 5-second intervals. After about 30 seconds, the liquid heated up a bit; however, the gel pack emitted an unpleasant scorched-plastic odor, so I didn’t want to risk microwaving it any longer. Perhaps the gel packs would heat better in a container of hot water, but that involves more mess and hassle than I care to deal with. While the covers are very comfortable and the price is reasonable ($7.99 at time of order), the cooling and heating are simply not sufficient to provide effective discomfort relief.2 stars.

Decent but could have improvements..
I have yet to be able to use these so far, but I am putting together my hospital bag and preparing things at home so I'm ready to go. I knew I wanted something like this for postpartum as I'm hoping to have a VBAC. However, even if I have another c-section, I know I'll still be able to use it no matter what, since after my previous c-section, my incision pain stung so bad, I relied on single use hospital ice packs for days for comfort. I'm glad I have a reusable option no matter which way baby arrives. The ice packs get nice and cold in our deep freezer, my main "con" is that they are a bit on the thin side and don't have a bunch of the freezy gel in them so I can see they may squish out of areas (like between your legs when your sitting) and I feel like that will make these warm up even faster. So, these may need to be used when I'm already a bit more healed up (after a few days of the single use ice packs) or possibly warmed up and used on my chest to help with milk flow. Also, for those that care it is more of a deep pink rather than red like the product title labels it as, but I hardly think that's important when it's supposed to go in your pants.. I do with they had snaps to attach them to underwear.. They are VERY soft covers though.

Very soft and easy to use. Like how it stays cold and wet when we need it.
These are soft enough and are easy to maintain. I like how they can be thrown in the freezer, run under the faucet, and even warmed up enough to be used on our face or other parts of our body. they come in a nice bag as well for storage.
