It worked!
It took the 5 nights that they suggested but it finally got my kitchen sink to work again. It was draining SO slowly before and nothing worked. Not even green gobbler. I have a septic system so I won't use caustic chemicals and none of the "home" remedies worked either. This was easy to use and did the job.

Works great!
We had a bad odor in one of our bathrooms for a couple weeks. We couldn't pin it down so we finally called a plumber. At $100 per hour it wasn't something we did lightly. Background: we're on a field septic system that is maintained by our community management. Our house is 35 years old and we've lived here 4 years. Over the last couple weeks we notice a nasty odor that seemed to be getting worse. It wasn't quite a sewer gas order, but definitely yucky. It was mainly in this one bathroom. The plumber checked all the fittings and under the house and didn't find anything physically wrong with our plumbing. He suggested it was coming from the drains themselves and aggravated by one of our drains being dry. We very seldom use the tub, opting instead for the separate shower. He said over time gunk builds up and when a drain dries out it allows the back up of odors. He recommended that we use Bio-Clean in all the drains for at least 5 days to give them a good "scrub" and then once a month or whenever we noticed the odor coming back. We found it online at Amazon. It seemed like a lot of money at first, but the alternative of having the plumber do the work made it seem actually a bargain. Luckily we have two baths so we could continually use Bio-Clean until we had done them all 5 times. As we used the product, the smell gradually dissipated. On the last day we could isolate it to the shower and the toilet so we repeated the process a couple more times on those. Now the smell is gone and we are remembering to pour a little water down the tub drain everyday so it doesn't dry out again. I was skeptical, but the plumber was right. We were able to do it in 3 days instead of 5. 8 hours a 'dose' is all that's needed so we did more than one a day, flushing the drains well with warm water between doses. Then we went ahead and did all the other drains in the house, just to be proactive. The product works great. Our only complaints was that's it's very hard to mix. The plumber warned us agains using HOT water as it will kill the good bacteria that do the work, so we used only warm water. It takes a lot of mixing.I would add the warm water and let it set, then mix vigorously. Then mix again before I dumped it down the drain. It still didn't all mix, but it still worked so maybe it doesn't have to dissolve completely. It must dissolve in the drain with time. The smell is minimal. In the toilet I tried to get as much water out of the bowl before adding it. Then poured another quart of regular water on top of that to "flush" it down. We're very happy with the results. No more smell. Hopefully a regular treatment will keep it under control in the future. We used more than half of the tub on this initial treatment of all our drains. The rest should last a long time as it doesn't take much per sink. I'm happy our plumber recommended it.

100% Successful On Toilets - Saved $300 On Plumbing
I really hesitated before buying this. It seemed too good to be true, but after realizing it's not an "As Seen On TV" gimmick, I bought it and am thrilled to report a 100% success. I went from a toilet that got clogged every single time it was flushed to never needing a plunger again!By the time I purchased Bio-Clean, I had to use a plunger EVERY SINGLE TIME my bathroom toilet was used - without fail. And it was taking more and more effort to plunge the drain. The last time I plunged the toilet, it caused sewage to back up out of the bathtub. Not even a 3-foot auger snake worked. I was about to call a professional rooter and pay $350 dollars to have them snake the drain all the way to the street - when I decided to try Bio-Clean.RESULTS WEEK 1: I applied Bio-Clean in the toilet and tub for six days before I tried using the toilet. Unfortunately, it still got clogged. However, I was surprised at how little effort it took to plunge the clog away. I was cautiously optimistic and continued using Bio-Clean for a few more days.RESULTS WEEK 2: The next time the toilet was used (12 days after starting) there was no clog. This was the first time in over a month. And every single time since, there have been no problems with the toilet drain. 1 flush and everything is gone. I used no other product nor did I try anything else during this time. Therefore, I can say with certainty that the only way I went from plunging every time the toilet was used to never having to plunge again was because Bio-Clean actually WORKS.I used a slightly different technique than indicated in the instructions that might have made a difference. The instructions recommend using warm water, because the natural bacteria in the powder (like most bacteria) works better in a warm environment:STEP 1: Pour about a gallon of HOT water down the toilet. It will automatically flush and helps warm the pipes.STEP 2: Follow directions and mix 2 scoops of Bio-Clean with warm water and pour down the toilet.STEP 3: Add another quart of warm water to force more of the bio clean deeper into the drain. I didn't want the Bio-Clean to just stay at the bottom of the toilet, nor did I want to just flush it all away, so I alternated between adding enough water to cause a small flush and adding less water to prevent a flush.STEP 4: Leave it alone overnight. The instructions say to use it every day for 5 days and then once a month. I had to use it for about 10 days in two weeks but I am still thrilled with the results.$50 is a lot of money, but there are about 150 servings of Bio-Clean in the tub. Imagine how much 150 bottles of Drano would cost. Even after 10 days, I have enough Bio-Clean left over to last years.

No more clogs or stoppages!
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I have an older home with older pipes. Each time I've had a sink clogged, this was recommended by 3 plumbers to maintain old pipes. Easy to use, lasts a long time and works! I use monthly as directed in all sinks, garbage disposal, drains, showers, and toilets. It's been over a year with no clogs or stoppages. I'm grateful to the plumbers!

No label on container
I ordered this and it arrived with no label or instructions, just an ID sticker on the lid. It looks like the correct product, and I have used this before and am satisfied. I just wish it would have had a label on the container.
