Well made, well designed unit for home use
My only real experience with this kind of pump dispenser is at hotel breakfast buffets and catered events. So I don't have any prior home use product comparisons. That said: It seems well made for home use. It does not seem to me to be a commercial quality product. And with that in mind, it seems to be average priced. The pump works well.I very much like the swivel base. Should make it that much easier to place it among other items on a home serving table/buffet.The opening to the thermos area is on the small side, but not so small that it makes filling it a problem. But it would create a problem for cleaning if not for the supplied brush, which is curved just right so you can brush it firmly against the insides of the thermos, making for easy cleaning. The easily removable top also helps.I don't foresee using it to keep things hot for hours on end, so I only tested hot water for a couple of hours and it did fine.I do, however, plan to use it to keep water or other liquids cold for longer periods, and since the package insert claims that it keeps liquids hot or cold for 24 hours, that's how I tested cold water. I filled the thermos with ice cold water (but no ice) and 24 hours later the water was still ice cold. I don't know how well it will do outdoors in hot weather, but at an average temperature of 68 degrees, it hit the mark...and, again, did so for 24 hours. And I really only intend it for indoor use anyway. The brushed stainless steel finish is nicely done. The plastic parts are plastic...but the overall appearance is fine, and for home use purposes, I wouldn't be looking to spend more money for a fancier look. For my purposes, this unit is what I was looking for, has some nice features, and no problems for me.

Keeps temp for 24 hours and easy to pump
One of the main considerations: how long does it keep water hot? We put boiling hot water inside on Friday night and it stayed piping hot through the night for hot chocolate/tea/coffee/instant noodles. Saturday morning it was still hot enough for a satisfying cup of instant brew coffee, but by Saturday night it was just warm. Still warm enough for more hot chocolate, but was already at drinkable temperature right out of the spout (like I could run my hand under it without issue). Keeping a decent temp for at least 24 hours is good enough for us because we used up all the water right around that 24 hr mark. The pump was easy to use. I was used to the older airpots that have a flush pump with a button lock. Both types of models are great in my opinion, but this lever type is actually just a bit easier...it barely requires any force to push the pump down. The close button feature is also a nice feature, as it allows for easy storage of the lever type pump handle, and also serves as a safety so curious little hands won't accidentally burn themselves by dispensing the hot water unattended. The carafe was large enough to make several cups of hot chocolate for the little campers, and some instant coffee for big campers ;p Was also able to make a cup noodle, but would probably only be hot enough for that if made within 12 hours of adding the fresh boiled water. Otherwise it might cool down too much to reheat the instant noodles. There is a swivel base on the bottom, which may or may not be beneficial depending on your purpose. I think the feature is nice, but I had to make sure not to get sand in it when we took it to the beach because if any got in the groove it might actually end up ruining it ><It came with an included brush as well, in case you don't already have a bottle brush. Would need this to clean inside because the opening is too small to fit your hand down inside. The inside looks to be a complete coating of stainless as well so should be able to scrub off any stains (although it should not stain if really made of stainless steel). We just use it for hot water though so only concern is water spots ;p Although the outside is stainless steel as well, we did not have any issues with fingerprints.Great little compact airpot to take on any outing. It is durable, secure, keeps its temp, and not very heavy. The top is a little bulky, but not sure if that has to do with insulation or the pumping mechanism. We also did not fill it to the brim, which I'm assuming is the 64oz because we put a little under 60oz in there to leacve a little extra space. Wasn't sure if we filled it all the way if it would spill out with the pressure form the hot water, but will need to test that out. Only improvement would be to maybe have a way to show the current water level so you know how much is left without having to open it and peer inside.**As an afterthought, we were also using this at 80ish degrees F during the day and high 60's at night. Not sure how this would perform in other temperatures or if it would vary the duration of time it would keep water at udeal temps.

Airpot coffee dispenser
My weakness is my raspberry hot cocoa. I love it off and on thru out my day but it's a pain to always have to heat up water. THEN came this big boy and my life changed! At a press of a pump I have HOT WATER for my cocoa! can I say how happy I am? This is a great product for me and I am just one person! This would be fantastic to have at a function of some kind or another. If you had a group of people for dinner or breakfast and had a lot of coffee drinkers THIS IS THE TICKET! This pot comes with a very nice brush for cleaning it out. It is very easy to clean and it is on a swivel base so there is no need to pick it up to actually turn it another direction. The water stays hot all day for me to enjoy my cocoa or a cup of tea which ever I want. This summer this airpot is going to be my go to for my ice tea! I definitely would recommend and yes I would purchase this again!

Disappointed
I have been searching for a smaller airport that could keep coffee hot all day. When I read the claim in the product description that it would keep hot for 24 hours, I was hopeful. Not even close. I filled with boiling water to preheat and then with a fresh pot of hot coffee. Four hours later it was warm, not hot. I will add this to a donate box.
