Unraid NAS transcoding monster.
Bought for my Unraid NAS for transcoding. Works perfectly. I have not even come close to maxing out the concurrent streams of 4k content, transcoding to all sorts of resolutions. Super easy to setup in unraid. Many tutorials.

Great for Transcode & NAS
First off, this thing is great if you're on a budget and just need something to game. There's some issues with support for older titles, but otherwise it's a respectable option. This isn't what I bought it for though. The Arc series of GPUs have absolutely fantastic hardware accelerated GPU encoding and decoding, making them ideal for NAS systems. I use this in my NAS to run transcode for Plex so everyone in my home can be watch multiple streams of movies we own, transcoded in great quality on the fly.The card is small, quiet, cool and light for my use case, so it has a nice home in my server rack in my living room.

For Stat Nerds. (Good Discrete GPU)
Gaming OC Instructions:Graphics-> Low Latency Mode; Change to On + Boost.Intel Driver Software -> Performance -> Basic Tuning button.Voltage 100%, Power 105%, Frequency Offset 150.VRAM Tuning: 19.1590-100 FPS on Palworld, Ultra except the last 3 including shadows which are high.I also notice alot better color accuracy with this GPU relative to my 6800xt.Summary:Slight overclock makes this arc == a default 6800xt OC.Considering the market right now, this GPU is high bang for buck.GPU itself is extremely sturdy, sticks in its socket well and only requires 1 8pin PCIe.I also enabled smooth vsync (Its version of Enhanced Sync more or less) and I enjoy gaming on this as much as my 6800xt.I strongly recomend this GPU for budget gamers and anyone needing a GPU for a newbie, particularly if they WANT to try to OC but dont have the skill yet. This GPU has alota failsafes to prevent you from breaking your own device. Bad for OC enthusiests but great for first-timers. Enthusiests will like this GPU for its small size, cool temps and quiet operation plus its video and streaming capabilities. Newbies will enjoy ease of use, OC options if they wish to tinker and a cheap option for budget gaming.However- You MUST overclock this GPU to get my results. Without it, youre looking at 60-75 FPS.

Good BUT fan speed issue
The card is really good BUT the fan issue is unbearable. It's annoyingly noisy because it ramps up and down all the time. A small fan like this that shifts between 2000 and 3000 rpm.Using it for transcoding for plex. Awesome price.

FITS, works great, Got it for transcoding.
Purchased this for my plex server. I have a TruNas Mini X+ running TrueNas Scale. Wanted the server to have the ability to do server side transcoding to ensure it runs smoothly. Open the side case.....woooooooo Tight squeeze but it fits. Click a couple of boxes in the web app, and the server app, check dashboard on web plex app, when you change resolution if transcoding is required it will have the this (hw) which means hardware. Super happy ;)

I'm very sad, I wanted this to work so bad! DOA, dumb design
To start, this thing never outputted any video consistently. When it did, it was garbled. I've seen dead GPUs before and this certainly had all the symptoms of one.I wanted this to work so bad. I'd love a single slot, low profile card to do Plex transcoding in a server. The only other card that can do that is an Nvidia Quadro P400.Speaking of low profile...get a load of this. This card does include a low profile bracket! That's great! All you have to do is remove 3 screws and the full height bracket comes off...but there's an issue. The third screw is underneath the plastic heatsink shroud. I can't figure out how to remove the shroud without removing the entire heatsink assembly (which voids the warranty). I read the manual posted on the website but that only talks about system requirements, installing the card, and loading the drivers. The shroud appears to be glued or secured to the heatsink with hidden screws. So, if you wanna try to put this in a half height chassis, be prepared with some thermal compound or just cut away part of the plastic shroud covering the screw. I'm hoping a future revision of the card will change the shroud design or just cut the shroud short so this isn't even an issue. For the record, the card was broken before I started messing with the shroud. Tried this on several computers.I'm sending mine back to Amazon for a refund. Maybe I'll give this a shot again when the product has had a chance to mature and go through a board revision or two.

The Intel Arc A310 is a PLEX TRANSCODING BEAST!
I just put the Sparkle Intel Arc A310 into my PLEX server and it transcodes like a god. The improvement on my streams have improved ten fold. 4k decodes beautifully with HDR and Dolby Vision. When watching a 4k movie on a lower resolution it transcodes extremely fast. NO MORE BUFFERING. GPU never exceeded 45% usage with five 4k to 480p transcodes at the same time. Temps never exceeded 65 degrees Celsius and my little SG13 is packed with a HDD partially covering the GPU fan.Single slot is the perfect size. Also comes with a low-profile bracket and the full-length bracket. I used this in my Silverstone SG13. I wanted to add a second HDD but didn't have the room. So I took out the old dual slot GPU I had in it, put in the Arc A310, put a second HDD on a PCIe bracket adapter and now I have a transcoding beast with 2 HDDs in my little SG13. Gotta love it. Highly recommend for PLEX transcoding.

Small and potent card great for light gaming and transcoding.
This is not necessarily the top of the line gaming card, but it does video transcoding like a champ and fits in many small form factor systems, such as the Minisforum MS-01 and MS-A2 (AMD based with meh transcoding capabilities).
