I've done color correction for making art prints, so I know what I want in a high-end monitor. I also know I don't need the same level of capabilities (and expense) for a monitor I use for everyday non-art tasks like business or social media. For everyday use, I want a monitor that is the right size, doesn't cause undue eye fatigue, and will allow me to do some basic color calibrations. I also prefer a name brand over a no-name company.This Lenovo D27-40 27" monitor suits me perfectly. Right out of the box, it wasn't calibrated to my liking (too bright, too yellow), so I installed an ICC profile I found on the Lenovo site, and that improved it. Later I calibrated it myself and like it even more, enough to use it for photo editing and some gaming. It's not a super-sharp image, but it's comfortable for how I use it.The desktop stand that comes with the unit is attractive and seems functional, but I use desk-mounted monitor arms. Attaching it to the arm was quick and easy: The monitor was lightweight, the holes lined up with the VESA mount on my monitor arm, and the included screws fit. When I got it hooked up and turned it on, everything worked as expected.I love a good bargain, and I feel this monitor offers a great value.

It's very bad. No display. Very frustrating. Never buy this.

This is a big and low cost 1080p monitor. I looked around and there really is only a couple name brand monitors of the same size at this pricepoint - the rest are generic brands. So, even with it's drawbacks, I think this is a great bang for your buck if the price is the main factor.The good:It's slim and near borderless, fits nice and looks nice on the desk. It's not heavy.Picture is clear enough for general computer use - it's a big monitor and if you like the big desktop, this is great.It's probably the best value for this size in 1080P.It's not a no-name.It's 75hz refresh rate, so not the best for high-graphics gaming, but still not bad for casual-type games.The not-so-good:Very poor angular viewing. You have to sit in front of this for it to be the brightest - the angle views are dim.No backlight adjustment.Very few picture customization controls.The monitor isn't as bright as I would like it, it does look slightly washed out compared to higher priced screens.

The display is a dull yellow,and will take a lot of research to get ot brighter. Well you get what you pay for. If you just need a second monitor and don't want to break the bank get it. Just got it 2/10/2025. ( Pictured on the right).

This monitor has been a fantastic addition to my setup! For anyone looking for a solid display for gaming, this is definitely worth considering. The visuals are crisp and smooth, and I've really enjoyed my gaming sessions since it arrived. Speaking of arrival, it got here incredibly fast – much sooner than I expected.The whole experience, from opening the box to getting it up and running, was surprisingly easy. The unpackaging was straightforward, and the setup process was a breeze. I had it connected and ready to go in no time. If you value convenience and quick delivery alongside good performance, this is a great option. There is no tilt option though but it's a great price considering the name brand.

I replaced one of my Company provided Samsung Monitors with this for my WFH station. Way nicer and clearer. Hooked it up to another, gets the full 75hz. Is it a gaming monitor ? Not really, I mean you can game on it. But I didn't get it for that. Streaming movies look nice. I watch in 1080p. All my work apps look great. Only con, can't adjust height ! Bummer. But can be tilted it. Fortunately I have risers on my WFH, so the height thing wasn't an issue. Good monitor. thank amazon

The Lenovo 27 inch monitor arrived and unpacked very easily. The tilt base connects to the screen quite easily and secures with only two short screws, with the tool included. With the HDMI cable inserted and AC power cable fitted, I hooked the monitor up as a second screen for my laptop. No problems whatsoever in this. The monitor's menu system and controls made adjusting the screen settings simple.The monitor also has a standard VGA port if you have an older legacy system and one of the physical controls will switch between the two inputs. There is a speaker out jack so that audio can play once you hook up some speakers. All in all I am impressed with this Lenovo 27" monitor which handles the standard monitor duties with ease.
