This conditioner is perfect for maintaining my copper-colored hair. It helps keep the color rich between salon visits. It also adds great moisture without weighing my hair down, leaving it soft and smooth.

I have used it twice, once I apply it myself and the second time I had a hair stylist apply it. The first time I wasn't able to get it everywhere without touching my scalp. I don't have the best lights in my BA so I didn't notice any change. I did notice my hair was left soft, tho. The second time, with the lights in the hair salon, I noticed how beautiful my hair was left, VERY shinny and like if I had used a Shades EQ from Redken. Not a great change on my greys but still, so gorgeous for everything else. My grey hair are like baby lights, I don't have a full head yet. My hair stylist said in my particular case, my greys are very shiny, meaning the cuticle is sealed, this is why my greys are so shinny. In his opinion, this mask will never make a great change but still makes my hair, overall look great.I still will use it as a nourishing hair mask. I'm happy with my purchase.

I am getting a bit older and in the past 1-2 years my hair has become much drier and more difficult to handle and style - I also color it, so that is a problem as well (as far as the condition of my hair). I have tried Redken Heavy Cream products (which are pretty good) and I have switched to an alcohol-free hair gel as well - all of this helped somewhat over the past 18 months or so, but still my hair has become more and more course and frustrating to style, and I thought the situation was pretty hopeless and I would just have to accept it. Honestly, I have gone through countless other products trying to remedy the problem. Then I got a sample of this product in my Ipsy or Birchbox (can't remember which) - it took me a few months to get around to trying it, and all i can say is WOW!! My hair is suddenly softer and more moisturized, and the texture is truly like it was 10+ years ago...for real. The only problem was that when I signed on to amazon to buy it I saw reviews that it was a knockoff...so I went on the company website to find out the best and safest way to buy it. I called the company and the girl who answered the phone was very helpful and explained that they now supply amazon directly so that there will not be any question of the authenticity of the product. Based on this info I bough the product - and it is the exact same and as good as the sample I got. I am so very happy and thankful for this product and how it has instantly improved my hair's texture and luster...i was about to accept the challenges of middle-aged hair but now i am beyond relieved and thankful...truly. I don't know what they put in this product to moisturize hair but I am going to ask my salon to start carrying it - even if they don't I now know where to get it. Thank you than you thank you....! Truly if you have dry & color-treated hair this will make a huge difference. I just saw yesterday that I have a shampoo sample as well so i will give that a try next....

I have used Davines products in the past and I've always been very pleased with their quality. I purchased the chocolate shampoo and conditioner and they are set to the same high standards that I expected. I found the scent pleasing, not overly herbal like some of the other products. The shampoo lathers up very richly and the conditioner is very creamy, so you don't need a lot. I have medium brown hair with highlights that gets brassy between salon visits. With the first use of the chocolate I immediately noticed a subtle but visible reduction in those brassy tones. I was expecting much more in the way of dramatic results based upon some of the other reviews. I was hoping this product would also cover gray but I see no change. I will continue to use this a few times per week because I like the added richness and shine that I am seeing in my hair color. I didn't notice any staining or issues with cleanup in my shower after using this product. These items are in plastic containers, not glass as I think they might have been in the past. If I have one complaint it would be that the 3pt type on the label is literally impossible to read.
