Used or refurbished computer passed off as new
I have had to call customer support 3 times already since last week for technical support. I should have known there was an issue when I booted up the computer the first time and it was set up for "defaultuser01" and wanted me to enter a password. I had to call support and they had me do a factory reset. After that the computer has not worked properly. Monitor goes off and on, then shuts down completely. The only way to get it to boot up is to unplug it and turn it on again. On my last call to tech support he asked me when I bought it, and I said last week. He said the warranty started in June 2024 and I only have 5 months left on the warranty. What kind of BS is this? Is this an Amazon issue or a Lenovo issue? Either way I am not happy.
