Heritage G 30lb Ready-to-use Granular Fungicide

Every year we have the same problem with our yard and I even started pre-emergent with Scotts disease X. It just doesn't work. I've tried the liquid and granules and this year even started months before - still we got lawn fungus that spread throughout the yard. Then we tried this product and WOW, what a difference. It cleared up in a couple of weeks with just one application.

I have never had very good results with Scotts products and I wanted to use something that would do the job right the first time. This did the job! I believe that quality products usually cost a little more, but are worth it.

Fungicides aren't cheap, as I've come to find out. But I've found Heritage G to be pretty effective. I use it 2-3 times per year - once in early spring, once in the heat of the hot, humid summer, and once near the end of fall before the first snowfall to help protect against any disease that pops up under the snow pack over winter. I find it's better to go a little heavier with it as it won't harm the grass if you're only treating the lawn a couple times a year for prevention.

Every year we loose a part of our yard to brown spot. We have tried several fungicides with no success. A landscaper friend told us about this product. Because it is fairly expensive I have used it sparingly. So far I have put down 2 applications, a month apart. All brown spot has cleared up except in the worst area. That area has improved about 75%. Next year I will start using this product in May before the brown spot starts!

I use Heritage G and then alternate it with Headway G, just so the grass doesn't get immune to one. Both are made by the same company. We live in a Southern state where we have clay soil, heat and high humidity. We also have a mix of Tall fescue grass, which is recommended here. If you don't use a fungicide here, your grass will die in big patches and it doesn't come back, these products do a great job. Once a month does the trick, good product.

Been using Heritage G for over 5 years for pythiun blight on lawn. Apply beginning of each month, June thru Sept. Works great!But every vendor/seller seems to use FedEx. Never delivers on time and often packaging is in bad shape. Once, delivery failed to show up at all.Recommend if you purchase, try to find seller who uses a different carrier.
