This is a review of the HORACE Mattifying Face Moisturizer. Which was priced at £15.00 at the time of posting this review.I have used other Horace products in the past and always found them to be very good quality, and this moisturiser is the same.There is a silver seal over the end of the tube under the cap which is reassuring before first use.The cream is quite thin and a little goes a long way and rubs in quickly. I like the way it makes my skin feel after using it.Overall, another quality product from Horace.

This tube of moisturiser arrived without a box or any protective packaging and there were dints in the tube, which did not look good. However, the contents were intact and the silver seal on the top was unbroken. The product comes in a white tube with good information on the tube about how to use the product and the ingredients. The white cream sinks into the skin well and does not have a noticeable scent so suits me well. The tube is fairly large holding 75ml, so £15.00 is a fair price for this product. My skin feels well moisturised and has not been shiny and I like the fact that this has been developed with men in mind. Having no SPF I need to remember to apply this for daytime.

Very nice, slightly thicker moisturiser with a matte finish aimed at men. However it's not unpleasant, it's easy to distribute about the face and soaks in well. My husband tends to have dry flaky skin and he had no issues after using this. He will continue to use this.

The HORACE Mattifying Face Moisturiser has been a great addition to my daily skincare routine. It works particularly well at controlling shine throughout the day, which is ideal for my combination skin. The scent is subtle and pleasant, and a small amount goes a long way. While it provides decent hydration, those with very dry skin might find it slightly lacking in moisture during colder months. Overall, it is an effective moisturiser that balances the skin well without clogging pores.

My partner has sensitive skin but always gets on with Horace products. This has helped some of the drier parts of his face and doesn't leave any smell or residue.

This face cream for men is great. It is easy to apply and smells nicely. It is absorbent, moisturising and does not leave skin sticky. I ordered this moisturiser for myself (female), but upon researching the brand, it seems that the Horace brand is skincare for men. It's a well known and well regarded brand in France.I tried the moisturiser myself, and it has more the consistency of a lotion. The product is fragrance free and very easily absorbed, with no stickiness. I imagine the lotion consistency will allow for ease of distribution over potentially stubbly skin. Personally, I found the product made my skin tingle after a few minutes, which wasn't very pleasant. However, my husband is now using it and likes it very much. He has had no irritation.The moisturiser is nicely presented, in a simple, aesthetic black and white tube. No other wasteful packaging was included, simply the tube itself. The tube is hygienically sealed with a foil tab. The 75ml tube size is ideal for travel or infrequent use, although (due to the consistency), a little does go a long way.

it's a pleasant cream. states it's unscented but I can smell a very faint almond scent.It's quite runny and since it's water based it's not a long hydrating cream. It lasted most of my working day but I started to feel dry and gritty before my shift ended.It feels wet/greasy when it goes on but dries quickly and is a matt finish.£15 at time of review. for me it's too expensive for a basic moisturiser, especially one that doesn't last all day.
