Adjustable length.
Just the right size for the brackets I use. I don't use the hardware that comes with the rod. If anyone else hates measuring, and I do, there's a great alternative to having to deal with the time consuming task of putting up the metal brackets. There are clear heavy duty stick on brackets with springs that eliminate all that hardware. Just type in screwless rod brackets in the search bar. Best invention since sliced bread! I have used these outside as well to hold my flower baskets and wind chimes! The 1/2 inch rod fits perfectly and looks really nice in the kitchen and bedroom. Highly recommend. The name of the brackets to look for is DRILLESS ROD BRACKETS and you get at least 6 to 8 , possibly 10 for less than $10. Very affordable and way easier to use.

Great little curtain rod!
I ordered this to use with some self adhesive hooks and cafe style curtains, and it works perfectly! Even extended at its maximum length, it doesn't bend in the center. The color is perfect, matches the other stainless curtain hooks, and the build is sturdy. It was easy to put together too.

Heavy duty curtain rod.
Great sturdy rod for heavy curtains and well as light weight ones. great buy for the money.

Flimsy when Extended
Beautiful brass color. It does get very flimsy when extended, even with extremely lightweight curtains. I’d recommend using this curtain rod for very light curtains and do not fully extend.

Little weak
This rod bows in the middle, it's really thin. I didn't buy multiple panels, just two, but they are velvet. I would not recommend this rod for anything but light linen or sheer curtains. It's definitely not for anything even a little heavy.

Perfect for holding hairbows!
I bought this and a pack of 100 clips to act as a hairbow holder for my daughters room. Fully extended I was able to hold almost 200 bows!! However, it did start to bow a little in the middle, but it is not made to necessarily hold that weight. It was easy to install, looks great, and better than I anticipated.
