Perfect little hiking travel bag
I bought this little backpack last minute before a 9-day trip to Iceland after worrying about not having a small bag to take on hikes/active days, as I didn't want to take my full-size airport travel/laptop backpack on hikes.I was initially intrigued by the fold-into-itself design, as I wanted something easy to throw in my checked bag that wouldn't take up a lot of space - this definitely fit the bill! Folds down into its internal pocket that can be turned inside out and used for small item storage inside the bag. I took of the little phone case thing that could attach to the backpack straps as I didn't think I'd need it. I think the most impressive thing about this bag was how much I could fit into it - it definitely holds more that it looks. On a hiking day I fit 2 phones, 2 waterproof shell jackets, and 1 water bottle inside the bag with another on the outside pocket. My husband has a larger water bottle that's insulated (32 oz) and it didn't fit in the side pocket. My slimmer 20 oz water bottle had no problems though. It held up well throughout the trip and seems like it will last for quite a while - not initial rips, sprouting threads, or nicks to speak of. Color also lines up with pictures (just got the black one though so not a huge surprise there). Generally light rain ran right off it, but I wouldn't go submerging it anytime soon.In summary:- Folds into itself to be super compact - perfect when throwing it in for day use on a trip!- Looks outdoorsy, but works as a general day bag too if you don't mind that- Holds a ton of stuff for a small backpack- Quality held up well for daily hiking backpackWas perfect for my use case & recommend to others!

Lightweight but can hold numerous items comfortably
I am so glad that I chose the daypack. I’ve been using a Jan Sport and while it is durable, it is also heavy and not waterproof. With winter coming, and the rain, since I ride public transportation, I wanted something more lightweight and waterproof. I got that plus some in this daypack. With 7 total pockets, I am able to organize my items and easily find what I am looking for. The cell phone pocket is my favorite, but beware it doesn’t fit the larger pro size androids. I had to switch back to my Samsung 9 which is a smaller phone so I could use that pocket. The sunglass case is convenient for me because I don’t have to wear my prescription glasses all the time but still take them with me everywhere I go. I don’t feel like I have to pay attention too much to where my glasses are in case of them getting broke. The case is padded and can fit in a couple different places on and in the daypack. I personally like the very front outside pocket which is deep and the case slides into it easily for an easy grab when needed. The inside main pocket can easily fit a lot of snacks or gear if you’re going for a longer expedition. It has a opening that is very convenient to load everything at one time while laying on a flat surface. The separate gray pocket in the main compartment is also convenient for separating your items from each other. The two side pockets are smaller than I expected and will only hold a taller thin reusable metal water bottle or a plastic squeeze bottle. Store bought water bottles fit fine as well, and I could even get two in one pocket however, it ends up being an awkward fit so I don’t suggest it. I have a large 32oz metal water bottle and I ended up have to put it in th large compartment. That wasn’t too bad though I had to tighten up the straps so the weight didn’t ride down to the small of my back. Also I like the strap across the chest that helps hold the pack in place so it’s not sliding everywhere. The loss of one star is due to it being a bear to fold up back into the pocket. It says in description that it is easy even the video makes it look easy but it’s not really that easy. I felt like I had to be super careful when pushing the pack back into the pocket for fear of splitting the zipper out. Maybe it was just me and not having a great deal of hand strength to roll it tight enough but I was disappointed that it took so much effort. Don’t let that deter you from getting this daypack though. All in all, it is durable, it is spacious, it has great stability while in motion and it held my travel make up bag, my wallet, a case with my phone charging gear in it and in my way home I had to get some toilet paper and it also fit a 4 pack of toilet paper on top of my other items. Plus I had my glass case in the very front pocket plus sunglasses in another case in the same place. It really does hold a lot. Plus par is that it is double stitched for that kind of weight so you don’t have to worry about seams splitting. The fabric is heavy duty too. It’s worth the buy if you don’t mind the little bit of haste to pack it back in its pouch.

You get what you pay for
I paid a little more and got a daypack that is sturdy and well-made. It even has a chest strap! Good size for shopping or an afternoon ramble. Water bottle pockets will fit a 'regular' bottle of water, nothing bigger. They fall out anyway! I got the grey- a nice dark grey. I haven't tried to fold this backpack into the pouch ot arrived on. Pouch is attached so it won't get lost. Very adjustable.

Great alternative to a purse to avoid shoulder pain
When I travel I tend to put everything in my purse - gopros, phone, sunglasses - everything, and after a long day it can give me shoulder or neck pain and make me irritable. So I tried this lightweight backpack on a recent trip to Vegas and it worked out really well. Some show venues don't allow backpacks but not a problem - just carry a small purse in the backpack, then you can just carry your phone, gopro or stick them in a pocket and fold up the backpack and shove it in the purse. This backpack worked out perfectly and saved me a sore shoulder all week!

Perfect size and function for a touristy day in the city
This small backpack has everything you need for a touristy day in the city!My wife and I are always on the hunt for the perfect bag to carry around while strolling through the city on vacation. We want to carry a single light bag for two with enough space to carry our essentials: a couple of light jackets, sunglasses, snacks, water, wallet, phone charger, keychain. This little gem has the prefect side ans is well thought out. It has a couple of inside and outside pockets to lock your wallet and keys and the 2 side nets for water bottles are perfect to carry enough water for a sunny day, without taking up valuable space in the bag. Finally, the smartphone pocket in the front in a nice addition to protect your phone from pickpockets in European cities, while keeping it within reach to take a pic at all time.Highly recommended!
