Excellent color for some glow

I got Glow Recipe’s tinted serum in Watermelon Flush. It comes in a large glass bottle with a nice-sized applicator tip. Watermelon Flush has a light watermelon scent and the color is a warm pink. I am a redhead with fair skin, so I don’t need much in the way of blush. With this, it’s easy to put a couple small dots of color on your cheeks and pat it in for a subtle matte flush. I applied it a bit more heavily to my lips where, after it dried, it also was a lovely subtle warm pink shade. After drying, the color did not transfer but easily wore away with food and drink. A bonus to this product is the skin care ingredients in addition to the color.

This tinted serum comes in a sleek watermelon colored bottle that evokes K-beauty for me. It has a glassy feel and feels good in my hand. I like the wide tip to the applicator.This tinting serum is light and luminous. The color is surprisingly rich and peachy on my cheeks, not nearly as pale as I was expecting it to be. It feels moisturizing on my skin. It blends in nicely and leaves behind a dewy sheen that looks more like a natural flush than a layer of product. The finish is radiant but not glittery, more of a juicy gleam.The texture is not at all watery. It has enough body to stay where you put it. It plays well with both skincare and makeup, slipping over sunscreen and layering over foundation nicely. I especially love it on days when I’m in a hurry, because I can quickly add a little color without any fuss. If you’re oily, you might prefer a more matte product, but this feels fabulous on my dry skin.I appreciate that it includes niacinamide, a known skin-brightening and texture-smoothing ingredient, though I wouldn’t rely on it as my only source. Still, the fact that it offers skin benefits while giving a fresh tint makes it feel like a little indulgence that also does a bit of good.The current price is higher than some blushing products, but this contains skin care as well as make up and I only need to use a small amount at a time, so I think the price is worth it.

I am always looking for unique versatile products. I love all beauty, whether it’s tools, makeup, skincare etc. Needless to say, when makeup doubles as skincare, I am on board. Especially when it’s coming from one of my favorite skincare brand’s.The WATERMELON FLUSH is easy to dap on my cheeks and, the applicator tip is comfortable to use. I was able to easily diffuse the blush on my cheeks, to create a soft look. I also love the buildable color. You can apply more layers for a more intense flush of color.The glow it leaves on my cheeks is REAL. The formula is not sticky and pairs well with my foundation. Furthermore, it helps to fade sun spots on my cheeks. My cheeks are left supple and, glowing with color. I am happy with both the shade and my results. It is an effective skincare blush solution. Definitely worth the value. I RECOMMEND.

i love glow recipe's skincare products so i was excited to give this a try! i normally do not wear a full face of makeup and so I don't have a ton of experience with blush. It's super easy to apply and quite forgiving. It's a sheer wash of color that doesn't really feel sticky at all. You get a nice, light and subtle glow and you can layer it for a nicer more obvious look. It's a tad pricey for blush but this is more of a premium mid tier brand. This is a review of the Glow Recipe tinted serum in Watermelon Flush. I’ve used this brand of skincare products before with some success, so I was really looking forward to trying this one. The blush is applied with an applicator to the cheeks. A little goes a LONG way! I was afraid that it was going to be too bright, but with a little blending I got it to look normal. It does have some noticeable color though so I would only recommend using it on the cheek area.The effect is somewhat less matte than a powder blush, but still not overly shiny or dewy. It’s natural looking if you don’t use too much. It didn’t have a strong scent as far as I could tell. It also has staying power - I could see it on my cheeks hours later.The serum comes in a glass bottle, which is something to look out for if you’re clumsy and drop things a lot like me. I also like that it has niacinimide for a brightening effect.

As the description states, this is more of a flush than a blush, meaning it’s not meant to pop as much as blushes do. This has more of creamy and watery consistency (not thick or tacky) than typical cream blushes and it was easy to blend using a brush. It’s not sticky and dries down pretty quickly. It gives a subtle glow and color payoff, though it’s somewhat buildable. I found it quite natural looking. I added some liquid highlighter on top and together, I had put together a nice dewy look. This has a bit of a skincare component to it too, so sometimes I just apply it even when I’m home all day - just to smile at the mirror and get a bit of a skincare boost too. I like the functionality of that. As far as value for money, I’m undecided. On one hand, it has a skincare component to it. On the other hand, I have some better liquid/cream blushes.
