The ankle cushion is great, I have not had any issues with discomfort/blisters while running/walking. It also has good arch support. With that, I am a size 6.5 and ordered the size 5-9 and the socks are fairly big on me creating event more cushion than needed. Depending on your foot size that this could be exactly what your looking for.
