Bought as a gift for my husband. Fantastic quality photos and an eloquent history of F1.

A great looking book, but due to poor handling when it arrived in the mail it was a write-off (water damaged/ pages stuck together). Amazon's instructions for return would have cost me more than twice (!) what the book was worth. Not a feasible option.A bad experience which will make me think twice in the future before ordering from Amazon UK.A pity....

This book outlines the input of the constructors, drivers and designers that were instrumental in developing Formula 1 from the 1950’s to the end of the 1980’s with references to key Grand Prix. A great reference for anyone wishing to understand why this era was the most important in history. Thoroughly recommended.
