Instructions were crap, but workable
What an upgrade!Replaced a free Kenmore grill that required constant attention of you didn't want burnt food. The grates were too low to the eat source and constant flare ups meant you had to constantly watch the grill to cook anything.Enter the Broil King Regal S420 pro. Yes set-up was a bear. Instructions were crap, but workable. They really should learn to letter/number the screw types in the beginning of the manual and use those letters in all subsequent steps....but I digress.Once built and cleaned a test run was performed and the grill can get up to 650*+First actual cooking use was this past evening. A whole chicken cut up, and marinated, and grilled to perfection.Seriously. The temperature control is fantastic. It manages flare-ups with ease. Anything flammable ignites for a second or 2 and then goes out.The grate height is low enough to get good heat but high enough not to be destroyed by open flames of burning fat.The nicest parts are the enclosed grease trap( behind SS doors Weber went cheap on their latest Genesis grills and removed the doors allowing animals to ravage the grease drip trays) and the rolling propane shelf. What a nice little touch, making infrequent cylinder changes so much easier.The SS grates are also super thick and heavy, holding lots of heat and resisting warpage.Will update with continued use and if any issues arise, but for right now...Super worth it.

The video is very misleading.
From your video about the regal broil king I thought the rotisserie burner, spit and motor were included in the S420 Pro. After assembling it I realized these items were missing. I need to return this item. We can’t take it apart to reassemble so I am sending it back assembled

The Beast!
Zero to 700" degrees in 12 minutes. Lights on 1 push. Plenty of heat as the grill has 4 burners and higher BTUs that similar priced Weber unit. I have the LP version which has a nice slide out for the canister for easy exchange. Looks nice and is built solid. Only gripe is that the assembly instructions are not very good - no words, just pictures. It will take 3+ hours to assemble - but worth the effort.
