A Barnyard Collection: Click, Clack, Moo and More (A Click Clack Book)

I'm in my 30's, and my sides hurt every time I read this book to my daughter. I literally have to take a break after the page about the duck bringing ultimatums as a neutral party because I can't stop laughing. It gets me every single time.***3 years later and the Duck part still quacks me up.This version of the book features 3 stories. Its' got the original Click Clack Moo, then 2 sequels. One is centered on the Duck being mischievous while Farmer Brown is away. This story just feels forced to me. It's not nearly as good as the original and it's just trying to capitalize on the Duck character from the first one. The second is about the barnyard animals sneaking off to the fair to enter a single contest. It's not quite as good as the original Click Clack Moo, but it's still very funny.All in all the 3 story version of this series is worth getting as the cost isn't much more than any of the 3 books by themselves. The Duck story is readable as a bedtime story. It's not bad. It's just not on the same level as the original.

My mom bought this book for my daughter when she was probably like 8 months old. She is now almost two, and I just had to repurchase it because she has been reading, looking, carrying, turning, and lugging this book around since. The original is all taped up, its sad looking lol. So I finally broke down and bought a new one. This book consists of 3 somewhat short stories involving the same few barnyard animals, cows, duck, pigs, and chickens. It's probably 10 or so minutes to read the whole book so it's perfect for bedtime stories and because of it being 3 different stories you can pick and choose how much time you want to spend reading. The drawings in this book are beautiful, and the stories are humorous to both child and adult. This is my daughters all time favorite book "Mama, Moo. Story, moo!", and I don't get tired rereading it! A good buy!

Well I have to admit that I probably love this book more than my 16 month old twin girls at this point. We borrowed the Click, Clack, Moo book from a neighbor and I fell in love with it. The girls enjoy it, though like all other books/things, it doesn't usually hold their attention for that long. However, it's very entertaining and I love reading it. This collection is especially great since there are three books in one. All of which are very entertaining and fun to read. We have a lot of books for the girls and these are by far my favorite.

My kids love this book so much. All 3 stories in this collection are so cute and funny - that even adults can enjoy them. My son (4 years old) asks us to read it to him all the time. He's heard it so many times that he has it memorized and he pretends to read it all by himself! He also insists on reading aloud all the animal sounds in the stories.I like the hardcover for this edition, as kids can be kind of rough on their books. Ours has survived literally hundreds of readings and the binding and pages are still holding up.The stickers included with the book are a nice bonus.

Why not get three of our favorites in one handy, hard-bound anthology! These books are so funny and cute that it's hard not to laugh at them. They're my son's (4) favorite, and now my daughter (6) enjoys reading them aloud to us. The pictures are great, the story is funny, and there is loads of inferecing to be done about how the characters feel based on their faces and actions, so it's educational too.

My granddaughter loves these books! When we borrowed them from the library, I read Click, Clack, Moo to her once, and she could almost say it back to me after that (she is three). Yes, she is amazing, what can I say? :) But the stories are laugh out loud funny and very memorable. And the illustrations are great! And I must say, I love the current Amazon blurb for the book Duck for President, by the same author. Read it right now...it will make you smile.

When we found our daughter was pregnant, we HAD to get her this set! It contains "CLACK, CLACK, MOO: COWS THAT TYPE; GIGGLE, GIGGLE, QUACK; and DOOBY, DOOBY MOO. All 3 stories are hilarious, as the farm animals are constantly pulling one over on Farmer Brown.So glad we made this purchase, our GD enjoys being read to and these books are so fun. I also like the "collection" book, as opposed to 3 separate books.
