The stock LCD screen in Dell G3 was so bad I decided to take a plunge by upgrading the screen with better SRGB and also unleash the potential of the Geforce 5 ti with better refresh rate. This screen is branded bright focal however I checked the hardware info post installation and its nothing but the Chi Mei N156HHE3-GA1 with 94% SRGB and 120hz refresh rate. Brightness controls work fine and the new refresh rate got detected in the first boot. Started overwatch at Geforce optimal settings and the FPS shot from display refresh rate restricted 60 to 115 FPS. The colors looks so vibrant and the G3 gets a breath of fresh air. This a high quality TN Panel and its day and night difference from the LG screen that was shipped with the system . The only con was the screen top latches were bend at 90 degree when I got it and I had to carefully bend it back in place before installing and screwing it in. No Dead pixels, great color vibrancy, 120 Hz refresh rate and from ChiMei. Im very happy with this upgrade.

I was a little dubious about the screen because I had never replaced a laptop screen and because I saw some folks complaining about brightness no longer working.Install was a breeze - I followed along a YouTube video and was done in <10 minutes. Just need a little patience and a small screwdriver to complete.The difference between the Dell G7 7588 factory installed panel and this one really is night and day. I was skeptical if the difference would even be noticeable but boy was I wrong. Blacks are darker, bright are brighter and colors REALLY pop on this panel. The leap from 60Hz to 120Hz was also something I wasn't sure if I would be able to notice but yes, it is a dramatic improvement. Everything is so smooth. Brightness buttons work. Overall very impressed and would strongly recommend. Thanks!

Packaged arrived in perfect condition so doesn't seem to have been roughed up. Screen was easy to install just switch with old and boot up. Worked like a charm and is honestly a very beautiful screen, makes my games look amazing as I can finally see everything with the increased brightness compared to the factory display on my Inspiron 5577. I really love how good this looks and I haven't even taken off the plastic screen protector yet. However this is the reason for my 3 stars, as you can see in pic above theres a dead pixel to the left. After a few days it hasn't gone away or gotten bigger, hopefully it stays that way.

It is not nice to get a dead pixel and pay 85 bucks for a screen....I don't buy screen to return it.

Fast thoughts:PROs:1. Quick shipping, screen arrived well packaged.2. Fairly easy to install (search youtube for videos on how to replace).3. It worked on first bootup, no messing with settings required. Display brightness works, no issue.4. MUCH brighter than original screen (which was pretty bad), colors "pop" and 120hz is nice.CONs:1. The screen seems to skew to bluish tones.... I need to look into how to calibrate it to something a bit more warm...Overall highly recommend over the OEM screen.

I bought this for my Acer Predator Helios 300 (G3-571-77QK). It did not disappoint! The only thing I had against my laptop was the 60hz screen. Why in the world would you take a laptop with an i7 7700, GTX1060, 1x M.2 and one 2.5" SATA bay and give it a 60hz screen?!?! I'd been eyeing new laptops for a few months. Then I found this! The 120hz is a massive upgrade! No need for a new laptop now. :-) Like many others have reported, one of the tabs was bent over. Just posting a Pic on here so maybe they can make adjustments to their manufacturing. But it was super easy to bend back into place. No dead pixels a week after install. Very happy with my purchase!!

The media could not be loaded. I bought this to upgrade my Acer Predator Helios 300 that came out in 2018. I wish it had come with a display like this from the factory instead of the 60hz monitor it came with. I installed it yesterday and so far this monitor seems to be a good upgrade choice. If you are looking to upgrade your laptop monitor to a 120hz I would recommend this one. Hopefully this monitor holds up over time. I will do an updated review after more usage. The pictures and video that I took don't do it justice, it looks better in person.

My older display was on its way out so i order this panel not only as a replacement but also to gain 120hz as the older panel which is supplied by LG, only supports 60hz.Right off the bat, the colors and pixels look much sharper compared to the LG panel. The dark colors does not look extremely dark and washed out, they look better compared to the LG panel originally supplied with the laptop.This LCD panel is perfect for content creators and gamers. As i play a lot of FPS games, i need all the frames i can get, this panel is perfect for this purpose and compared to the AUO panel that other people recommend for the Dell G3, you still keep the brightness controls.Other than that, i haven’t seen any dead pixels or anything so yeah. Really loving this panel.
