Beautiful water bottle. Keeps water cold for a while. Very durable

I was very excited about the idea of this bottle as I drink a lot of loose leaf rooibos tea. Unfortunately, the little infuser that pops in/out of the bottle has big slots on the side that allows a large amount of this small tea to slip out of the bottle and into your mouth or mug when poured/sipped. I wrote to Welly customer service to see if they had any suggestions, and they told me that loose leaf tea should actually be made in the bottle via the pour over method. I gave this a try, and ended up with a very weak tea (because the leaves don't get the chance to steep!!!) AND leaves still made their way through the slot.Giving the bottle three stars because it's super attractive and keeps liquids very hot for an entire day, but it doesn't quite work well for the reason I purchased it. Will have to use it for infused fruit/herb water instead.

Keeps my drink hot but the lid is incredibly hard to take off in the morning and i never even closed it that right. Struggled for 10 mins to get it off this morning which is why I’m writing this review to warn people, If you have arthritis of the hands, definitely can’t open the lid

My daughter bought this for me. I was thrilled until I found there was no handle of any kind nor was there a sipping spout. I’ll have to use it because it was given with such pleasure. I wish I coup buy a handled spouted lid. Carol H

I owned this thermos for only about 3 months and the bottom rubber seal just came apart one day. I have only hand-washed the thermos and the only reason I can think this happened is that from time to time it sat on my counter after being washed where water would pool at the bottom--the issue here is that the bamboo sucks up the water like a sponge and I think over time it weakened the glue holding the rubber seal. Other than that the thermos was good if a bit oversized for coffee (it won't fit inside some cup holders).

I drink a lot of herbal teas, so I asked for a great insulated travel tumbler for Christmas last year. Every time I've gotten something similar, they've leaked or just haven't stood the test of time. My sister ended up getting me this Welly bottle. I liked that it came with two different lids. I've gravitated toward the flip top lid primarily, finding that it's most convenient when I'm in the car. I've used this thing to death over 6 months. I even dropped it onto a cement floor from about 6 feet high (accidentally, of course). I was momentarily terrified because I loved my bottle and didn't want it to be ruined. Well, not only was it not ruined, but it didn't leak AT ALL in that fall. Not from the flip top or anything.I learned quickly that if I wanted to actually be able to drink my hot tea from my Welly bottle, I had to fill it about half way with hot water and steep my tea, then finish filling it up with cool water. Otherwise it would be many, MANY hours before it would be cool enough to actually drink. =DI recommend this to people over and over again. It's absolutely the best insulated bottle I've ever had!
