My face is a no-brow zone due to over tweezing in my teens, age, and medications that cause hair to thin. That said, I enjoy wearing makeup and I put on my brows every day when leaving the house for work or fun. I am not going for natural brows, but more sleek and dramatic.I've tried every product out there from pomades, to pencils, powders, and liquid liners. I wanted something a bit transparent so that I could layer and give my brows some depth.The good: goes on smoothly (I use it over MAC Longwear Pro foundation and Laura Mercier translucent loose powder) and coverage with the pen can vary by layering it or using a lighter/firmer hand. I especially like it for outlining and then filling in the brows with little whispey strokes, layering dark brow powder with a very thin liner brush (from my own art supplies), topped off with some dip brow pomade to darken and define the tail past the curve. Stays all day and I have very oily skin.The not-so-good: I'm a red-head so the deep brown is perfect for me, but it turns a weird dark, green hue (think a 20 year old home tattoo that's partially faded) when using foundation or light concealers to clean the lines up. To work around this I use a clean detail brush to keep mistakes under control before it dries fully. Using it over foundation has helped this issue, but it's important to think about.Overall, I love it and it cuts my brow time in half because I can just pull off the cap and start painting. Since I've been wearing it I've gotten several compliments at how attractive my brows look. Totally worth the cash and a nice addition to my regular brow routine of powders and pencils.

For a couple of years, I had been buying Laura Geller's eyebrow marker, which set me back over $25 every time. The last straw was having to spend the money 2 months in a row because the marker didn't last, and I've ALWAYS been careful to make sure the marker end pointed down (to keep it from drying up).Short term solution: I went back to eyebrow pencils. Which looked okay, but I knew I couldn't tolerate it for long.In July, I saw the reviews for the NYX eyebrow marker and decided to give it a try. I also decided to get the liquid sealer stuff to make the marker stay on for longer than usual.Both worked extremely well. We had a very hot and humid summer, and throughout the summer, the marker stayed on. I don't know if it's because of the liquid sealer or what the reason was, but I was very pleased with the results. FWIW, I don't have any eyebrows anymore, so drawing them in with a pencil makes them look very fake, and, um, pencilled in. Drawing my eyebrows with a marker, as far as I'm concerned, is a much better way to grow.And you can't beat the price. So I wouldn't hesitate recommending this to any woman who has eyebrow issues.

for as long as i have been buying things from amazon i have never written a review, despite the fact that i have always appreciated and in fact depend on those i read. well, this is worth my time. do not hesitiate to buy this. i have searched and searched and spent more money than i care to admit to find the perfect eyebrow pencil. voila! color is right. application is smooth (although i must say a steady hand will serve you well). it stays on. no mess. no sharpening. one handy tool to get the job done. i am a very simple girl so i simply "fill in the blanks." i suppose you could get creative if you wanted. finally...you know the feeling girls...finally, no more searching.

well, I needed something that wouldn't wear off or wipe away. This definitely works and the color is great when I put it on, but it does turn green with time, and for me, turned green after activity due to sweating. I am guessing it's a chemical reaction between sweat and the product because ordinarily it's brown for 6+ hours, however turns green over night. But with exercise it turned very green after just an hour . I will still use it and just beware of the green effect when considering a work out. Like anything, your skin could be different as we all have different pH levels . Many reviewers say they never experienced the green effect so, worth a try!

I have used an eyebrow marker for some time now......have been using the Laura Geller one from QVC. The price on this one got my attention so I ordered one to see if I would be pleased with it. I was so pleased that I ordered another one to have in reserve. The price for both of them was less than what one of Laura Geller's would cost me. That made me very happy! The color of this marker is much better for me than the Geller marker....and so far I've had no problems with it becoming dry. I store it in a vertical position so that may be helpful. For the price this marker is very good.

I started using this to save a little money from getting the MAC brand ones that are similar. I used to use the lighter shade and realized I should try the darker one. It's great when you first apply it, however as it starts to wear or you sweat, the brown turns a horrible bad tattoo green. It's so embarrassing. By the time I leave work I have green eyebrows. Also these seem to dry up quickly. I recommend keeping them with the tip down like in a cup or something. If not you need to tap them cap side down on the counter a few times to get the product to to the tip. After I use up the ones I have I'm going to stop using this product SINCE THEY TURN YOUR EYEBROWS GREEN!!! I will try to update this review of the before and after showing the green after about 4 hours ... so frustrating !!!
