Original remote got chewed up by the dog so we went almost 1 year without a remote but during the summertime, it is a hassle to get up to turn it on and off. Even though there's a time the timer I still have to get up and set it then get up again if I need to turn it back on or off. Purchased this replacement control and it came actually faster than the suggested delivery date which was even more exciting. Doesn't come with batteries, thankfully I just purchased some. Works like a charm. No more getting up. Lol.
