I always liked acer’s stuff
I bought this laptop a couple years ago. I always liked acer’s stuff. It has never worked right and is slow as anything. It has led to many hours of frustration as easy tasks take minutes at a time and “not responding” messages. I had to buy a new screen once cause it caused so much frustration i pinched the screen.

The computer itself is very nice and I would love it if the most important ...
I received it and the touchpad didn't work and I worked with the Acer technical support and there was nothing I could do to fix it, and they concluded by saying that it's a hardware issue. The computer itself is very nice and I would love it if the most important part of the laptop wasn't broken!

You get what you pay for
It came with too many apps and it was extremely slow..after three weeks the screen went blank and kept saying it was trying to fix itself

Inexpensive tech solution
The Acer laptop is probably not my go to laptop brand, but given constraints of wanting an inexpensive laptop this has performed well.We wanted a laptop with minimum criteria of 15.6 screen, decent speed and an Intel processor (preferably Pentium) for around $225. The Acer met all criteria and was a little over $200.We are using the Acer in a multi user business environment (physical therapy department). It's been in use 3-4 months at this point and is holding up well.We are treating this purchase as s disposable tech tool. At this price point. we will be happy to get 24 months use out of it.

Not again
This was a disaster. The laptop came and was set up properly ... however, the battery would not charge, later the computer didn't even recognize it. It did run on electrical outlet. We then found out that the registry was corrupted in 2 areas. Kept dumping the Flash Player even though it was upgraded. I have had Acer's before and they were ok for the price .... but this one! No! It could have been a one time issue, but would think twice to order it again. The Seller was great ..... I sent it back and the Seller refunded my money right away. The problems were not at the Seller level, strictly the manufacturer... Acer.
