I ordered these because I already have two 1 gallon Mason Jars and why pay more money for a pitcher ?So far these lids work great on my Gallon sized Mason jars to turn them into a glass pitcher. I really like that it's a 2 lids set as most Gallon sized Canning jars are sold in a 2 pack.They don't leak when properly sealed.These lids seem well made. Better than the lid that came with the " Mason " type Glass Jar lidded pitcher that I bought at Walmart.Very easy to clean by hand. I take the seal out and clean both sides with a new clean toothbrush and let air dry on a kitchen towel while I clean the top in the kitchen sink. Reassemble is easy. If I just used my jars and these lids for water instead of sugary drinks I would not take the seal out with each use. The only worry I have is the integrity of the "pop lid " pouring area of the lid and that's because of previous experience with this design failure in Rubbermaid water bottles. This will work until either for years until the lid fails or until we loose the seal.Overall It's a great purchase if you have a Gallon (64 ounces) sized Canning jar that you want to use as a pitcher.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This is an amazing product! I never needed it before, but once I found it, I use it all the time. It holds up to half gallon jars of milk. It doesn't leak. It does get tighter the more I use it, so when I need it off, it can be a bit of a struggle sometimes, but that's a minor thing for me.

I really like these pour spout lids. They are very solid. The plastic is heavy enough and do not flex at all, even when using them on full, 64 ounce mason jars. The flip cap fits snug and along with the silicon lid gasket, I can shake the jars to mix the liquids without worrying about them leaking. I like these so much that I purchased 10 of them. One thing to note, and it's not a complaint, is that you need to use a brush (I use a toothbrush) to clean the inside of the flip cap since it has a number of tiny dividers that accumulate whatever is in the mason jar. Again, this is not a complaint.

Purchased to use with 64 oz mason jars. I was looking for glass mason jar pitchers and found these lids. Much more economical to buy the jars and lids separately, so I did. Bought a case of six 64 oz jars locally (cheaper at Target) and these lids and they work great together. Use it for homemade lemonade, mocha frappacinos and other drinks. They seal well and don't drip when pouring. Much easier than pouring from the jar with no lid. Also great if you need to transport drinks. Great purchase.

These lids are wonderful! They are easy to screw on to the mason jar, they do no leak and the handle pouring our the contents so much easier. I gave it 4 stars because I wish that the pour spout was easier to open.

Ordered this for my daughter who enjoys brewing her own sweet tea. I have a gallon size mason jar and this pour top fit perfectly. Leak proof and dishwasher safe. Made of a hard plastic that appears to withstand my over eager children. The black looks sleek and stylish, making this a good value.
