I lost two arrows/broadheads in thick timber; a rake and metal detector didn't work. Ordered this, and headed to the woods in the dark. Found both arrows within minutes, even though only a few inches of the arrows were sticking out from under the leaves. This light made the plastic nocks and the fluorescent cock vanes shine like a beacon!This light is also great for checking blue "glow" on your camo clothing, that they claim deer can see.I recommend using the included UV protective glasses, as I did feel nauseous after about 15 minutes of use without the glasses; no, I didn't look into the light, just the reflected light from the forest floor was enough it seems.I highly recommend this for hunters; I suspect it will also be great for blood trails.

Just bought the Vansky 12.99 UV light and it wouldn’t show a fresh piss stain on a paper towel if I shined it directly on it in pitch black.This flashlight is true UV and detects in light or dark, you aren’t wasting your cash. This is only day one so I will update on battery life and how it goes a month from now. But for the UV, it is good.The second picture is a month old vomit stain I thought I fully cleaned up btw. But that’s also how piss looks under UV on that same type of carpet.

Photos attached are of the same spot on my carpet - one with the light, one without. It's a little hard to take a good photo of how well it works. I've tried buying lights like these before, but they never seemed to work right - I think I got fakes, TBH. This one actually showed me where my cat had been peeing on the carpet. There's nothing quite like constantly smelling cat pee somewhere but not being able to narrow down where it is, but this light took out a lot of the guess work.I do wish I could figure out a way to get a broader beam from it, but twisting it doesn't seem to change the beam, it just reveals the charge port.The light does work best in a darker room, but I found even with a room that was pretty well lit, I could still spot stains.I didn't find much use for the yellow glasses that came with it - pretty much everything just looked the same color with them on, whereas without them, plant type material looked more orange and pee looked blue.This light also has other uses, like showing dust and cobwebs, so it can help with figuring out how well you've vacuumed or dusted. And it may sound odd, but it doesn't illuminate blood well - I have a foster dog that went into heat and this doesn't really show that better than a regular flashlight would, but she also had kennel cough when I got her and that... um. Snot, pee and dust show up really well.

This puts out a very large amount of UV. So much in fact that you can feel warmth when shined on your skin. I'm thrilled at the intensity level of the beam yet very little visible light output, so it's well filtered and I get excellent fluorescent response and rapid adhesive curing with this flashlight.

I took this with me to a program on uranium glass, and the presenter raved about it! We compared what he had been using to this one and couldn't believe how much brighter this was. It was really my first time trying it out, but it worked great and I really like that it is rechargeable.

I didn't work. I charged it for hours and nothing. Flipped the battery over, maybe it was in wrong. Charged for another day or so... and still nothing. Very bummed out. Waste of money.

Shows all the stains, pee or otherwise. It's sturdy and built very well, seems like it's going to last forever.
