Great for blending supplement
I use this product to supplement my cats urinary track health food. I’ve been mixing this, two parts urinary track appropriate to one part open farm cat. I did not feel my cats were getting enough nutrition with the urinary track cat food . Fur was dull, energy was low, but no one had to go to the hospital since I switched four years ago.I tried a couple of other higher protein cat foods and did not see good results.I like the size, very small and easy to blend in. The cats think of it like treat and are very happy to have a little sprinkle now and then.My only improvement, very common with a lot of pet food product is a good strong zip seal on the bag.Slipping the bag into a 5 gallon container and seal it does help to maintain freshness.

A hit with the picky cat!
I have a cat that it is extremely picky. This is something that he really enjoys. He likes the lamb flavor so much he started eating the Open Farm Lamb I purchased for my dog. I ended up ordering the lamb in the feline formula. I love with the bar code scanner I can trace the ingredients used in the food to the origin. It’s a great quality food that both my feline and canine love.

Great Cat Food!!
I was doing research on cat food and I 100% recommend this. I have 2 cats and my oldest started getting chunky because I was buying the Costco Cat food and it was super unhealthy. I switched my cats to this cat food about 10 months ago and I’ve noticed a positive difference in weight, activity, and digestion. I buy 2 bags every 1.5 months-2 Months. When you switch over I recommend putting an outer layer(about 75%) of the old food and inner layer of new food(25%) and increase every day until it’s 100% new cat food. First 2 pics are before, last 2 pics are in the past 2 months.

Been using this brand for years now, and my cat really loves it. I recently started giving her the lamb and she seems to really enjoy it.

This bag of cat food was somehow contaminated?
I ordered in the last 2 months 6 of these bags for my 4 cats. It’s expensive, but is the only cat food that won’t upset two of my Persian cats tummy. Lately they started to throw up non-stop every time after eating their food. This happened to all 4 of my cats (3 Persians and 1 shelter cat). Called the vet and was told to take one of them in and to bring the opened bag of cat food. Also to bring a ziplock bag with a different cat food in from an unopened bag. He told me to start feeding the other 3 cats from a new bag cat food at home and they’ll keep Smokey (white & grey Persian cat) overnight for observation. The first day they gave him the cat food I brought from the open bag and he threw up couple minutes afterwards (no hairball, just food) and that evening they gave my Persian cat the food from the ziplock bag. Didn’t throw up at all! Even though both were Open Farm brand cat food. The vet concluded the food might be contaminated or that it went bad when picking up my cat the following day. Sometimes this could happen due to quality controle. I’m glad my cats are fine now and the other bag of Open Farms was good. I wanted to send the cat food bag back to Amazon seller and ask for a $27,95 refund, but the vet’s assistent already threw the bag with the spoiled food away. Next time my cats gets sick, returning the food to Amazon and asking for a refund. Lesson learned after getting my vet bill…
