Does not work "seamlessly" with Android phone as an input device for CALLS
Product arrived promptly and was a simple usb mic. I imagine that it works in the correct context. Despite some (possibly ambiguous) claims in the product description, it didn't work at all if simply plugged into my smartphone. My niaivity possibly at work here, but the phone didn't natively recognise (or use) the device. There may be clever ways to make it work with apps and OTG adapters but all of that was not explained and beyond me on any case so I bought a Bluetooth "hands free" mic and "ear can" set instead.

It's great but..
I bought this product specifically to record my voice to add over videos I create on my ipad. Unfortunately it doesn't work with my ipad, so I have to now record my voice on my phone, then transfer it over between devices. It works perfectly on my phone, no problems there, just wish it worked directly on the device I purchased for

Sounds pretty terrible
The media could not be loaded. The audio from this mic is very tinny, captures no bass or mids in your voice at all. It's like I'm talking through a radio or something. You can hear what I mean in the video I made. I have connected this to both my computer and phone directly to USB-C ports, and it sounds identical on both. And keep in mind I was talking directly into it from a reasonable distance. On my shirt or something (how its intended to be used) it would sound like complete crap. Unidirectional claim is true though, it only picks up my voice when talking into the top of it. But yeah, even so, its not fit for purpose. Would not recommend.

VERY AVERAGE SOUND...BUT GOOD ENOUGH FOR SOME BASIC INTERVIEW SETTING
I've tested this mic against built in microphone in my huawei p30 pro, and zoom H4N.Of course It's hard to compare it to Zoom H4N, but i didn't expect the sound quality of huawei built in microphones to be so good. With regards to this lapel mic, all i can say the sound quality is average. Don't expect anything fancy...I wish i had Rode lapel might to compare them side by side. But as for this mic, it is usable, but the sound quality is just ok. I'll keep it as a back up if i ever need to plug someone to the mic.

Good value. Works perfectly. Good sound
I bought this lapel mic, for when I'm screen recording off the dji mini 3 pro RC controller. it works perfectly and needs no set up. the sound quality is good and the volume is fine.

Working direct in Osmo Action 3
Pleased to say it gives good audio plugged directly into DJI Action 3 USB-C port, try 15db gain as a start point. Not noticing aggressive noise cancelling either as happens with some microphones

Does what it’s supposed to
You plug it in, clip it on and talk. Nice and clear. Does exactly what it’s supposed.
