Derek, great question. MOA stands for "Minute of Angle". If your scope laser, red dot, iron sight etc. is calibrated at "MOA = 1 inch at 100 yards" this just means one click of the adjustment knob(s) will move the bullet impact point up/down or left/right 1 inch at 100 yards. If your gun shoots 3 inches high simply turn the vertical adjusting knob screw down three clicks to correct the aim point. At 50 yards three clicks will lower the aimpoint 1 and 1/2 inches. There are many different types of MOA's depending on the scope type and use. Look up minute of arc on Wikipedia. Look up 'scope zeroing' on YouTube. Try the PyramidAir blogs and other airgun sites for great information on MOA. You will find MOA is a great place to learn the pratical use of: math, geometry, physics, optics and self discipline how to do it right and how to do it the same way over and over.
