After 4.5 years, my ASUS VivoBook 15 M513IA (8GB RAM) was running slow, so I could either attempt to upgrade it or buy a new laptop. $700 or $75 (including the price of the tools to do it)? ....the choice was easy. I did my research, compared products and brands, and checked compatibility and installation information (Crucial has a lot of helpful info on their site). All told, the installation took about 20 minutes- the hardest part was getting the back of the laptop off- and I went from 8GB to 24GB with no hiccups. In the 10 months since installation, I've had no issues and less lag. Please, don't be scared of doing your own upgrades, but do your research.

Purchased a few months back. Was a easy install. Memory has definitely improved the speed of processing, and works excellent. No issues. Would recommend.

Dell sold me a laptop with only 8gb of RAM, and said it was Windows 11 compatible. I guess technically they were right, but it wasn't enough RAM to use any applications. I tossed this into a Dell Inspiron 3580 and it now runs like a champ. No blue screens and easy to replace. My recommendation is to replace the battery and upgrade the RAM at the same time to refresh and an aging laptop.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Have been upgrading my PC's and laptop's for decades using Crucial Memory, and have never been disappointed. Great memory at a great price. Why purchase memory from a big name brand PC/laptop maker? As they say . . . this is a no-brainer.

Using this memory, my computer now operates at quantum bit speeds. It knows what I want to do before I know it. In fact, the upgrade was so easy, the memory installed itself. After installing this memory, my computer functionality increased. It was doing things it wasn't even designed to do. But what was even more amazing was, this memory doesn't even need a heat sink. It's so efficient, it actually cools the pc!I am disappointed in the brightness of this memory.I all seriousness, the memory works as expected. Depending on what you're using your pc for and how much memory you started with, you may or may not see a huge improvement in performance. In my case, not a huge difference as I had 16GB before and upgraded to 32GB. I had no expectations that I would see a huge improvement though. Though I do appreciate the extra space for some future projects.

Easy laptop upgrade! This Crucial 32GB DDR4 kit (2x16GB) runs smoothly at 3200MHz and downclocks for broader compatibility. Works great with Intel 13th Gen and Ryzen 7000 systems. CL22 latency isn’t the lowest, but for everyday performance and multitasking, it’s a solid value. Only downside is the shipping time.

Over a year since I threw these in a brand new laptop. Still no issues. Work perfectly fine. Would recommend.
