Fantastic SMALL bag
Plain and simple this is an amazing bag. It's incredibly durable and seems to be very well made. To those of you complaining about the size? That's on you for not understanding what 15l or 935 c.i. looks like, but to those of you who are looking for a bag for movement and speed this is the bag for you.The bag is rather narrow on the inside. It will not hold a laptop, but it it does hold my iPad air perfectly in the back against the water bladder compartment (it will not fit in the compartment). Furthermore, when completely packed it more or less qualifies as a "personal bag" in addition to a carry on on every flight I've been on (even though the dimensions may be larger than what is measured as a personal item on most airlines websites it fits EASILY beneath the seat in front of you.For those of you thinking this is a great bug out bag? It is not. It is too small. However, it's an excellent dayhike, Every Day Carry bag, or a great Get Home Bag that you keep packed and in your car if you need to go a short distance. This is a great bag for someone who wants to move quickly and unencumbered. One negative, but not negative enough to remove a star, is that you can really load this bad boy up with weight, but with the lack of hip belt the weight rests heavily on your shoulders which can get somewhat tiring.

3rd eberlestock pack - love them all - this one is now my most used
I bought a very large Eberlestock pack (i think the battleship) a year or so ago for camping, and immediately knew the quality was top notch, putting eberlestock on my radar. This bandit pack is great for day hikes and the primary use I got it for - mountain biking.Highlights:The top zipper is quickly accessible and where I keep my tools and flat repair kit. - Love that i can keep stuff organized and within hands reach for quick access in case of a puncture. I can easily fit a spare tube, rubber cement, tire lever, Co2 canister, knife, and anything else I might want quickly or to be able to get with a single hand. There is a nice key hook in this pocket as well.I've been running a 3L hydration pack in this for mtn biking - and keeping my phone snug in the two water bottle pouches on the side for easy access to my phone (they adjust to be tight so nothing can fill out)The main compartment is great with room for food and i keep gels/bars/etc stored in each of the inside side pockets. You could easily get a smaller hydration pack and fit much more. I also like the mole panel on the front - you could use that to stash a jacket or hoodie to get to quickly without opening completely if you wanted. There is a waist and chest snap so i can keep the pack really snug to me while riding single track and the adjustment for where the shoulder straps lets you make sure you won't catch anything for your size.Really liking this pack after about a month of consistent mtn biking - used 3-5 days per week.

Fantastic EDC pack. Bigger than it looks.
Love my Bandit Pack. Incredibly well made, super light, and it packs a ton for its size. The pack is actually bigger than the pictures make it seem, but it's still a really great size.

Great (if a bit odd) pack.
Make no mistake, it's a quality pack -- no doubt. Very robust and rugged. Yet I'm on the fence about keeping it, for a variety of reasons. My purpose for it is to serve basically as a range bag for both pistol shooting and target archery. And, I know, I know: "just get a proper freakin' range bag." Which, maybe I will. But I like to do things "different," and one thing I sort of hate is to have something like a bag that's specifically dedicated to one task, in a way that forces me into organizing my gear the way it wants me to. I like to adapt a more general purpose bag to what I want it to do.I thought this bag might just be my "holy grail," but I'm not sure. I can load it with two full size pistols, each in Savior 9x12 envelopes, along with a 5 mag pouch, my ear protection, and a few boxes of ammo. It's a tight fit but it does work. Or I can get in a couple recurve risers, limbs, and all my archery accessories. So, basically it does serve its purpose, but that's all it can fit. If I'm packing out to an outdoor location, to shoot, and need to bring water and maybe some food or a jacket -- probably not going to happen. Or at the very least I'll have to settle on taking just one gun. So size is something of an issue. It would be a bit more ideal were it a tad bigger. And then the way it loads and unloads is a bit odd. I'm not sure I really see much use for the molle panel out front. I mean, maybe, but if I attach anything too heavy to it, then it becomes a bit of a pain to flop it down any time I need full access to the pack. Same goes if you have anything heavy in the lid compartment. It makes it a bit unwieldy to open the pack fully if you have much in the lid.So, again, overall it's pretty decent and potentially usable for my purposes. But I might yet send it back and continue the search.EDIT: I've decided to keep the pack. After re-reviewing all the other possible options out there, then doing a few load-out scenarios, and using it for to/from the range, I've decided it's the best pack in this size range and configuration. The main thing that's got me hooked is how ridiculously durable and "structured" the bag is. For a heavy-ish load-out (like a few boxes of ammo, two or three pistols, ear pro, etc.), I want a bag that holds its shape + rigidity and won't start to wear excessively from the weight and being tossed around. I think this bag will fit that bill. Also, side-note, the aforementioned 9X12 Savior pistol envelopes truly do not fit well into the pack. I tried a slightly smaller pistol zip case, and they pretty much fit perfectly. I can go 3 handguns in the pack, now, no problem -- and that's as many guns as I ever want to bring to the range, anyway, so it's fine.Depending on your purpose, I'd definitely recommend the pack. It's completely grown on me and all my reservations about it have been put to bed.

Perfect as a EDC or short trip
I bought it as a backpack to travel and that fit under the seat of the plane. It has several interior compartments and more can also be added with velcro . Also bought the waist belt separately.

Great product. Slightly smaller than I expected
Great pack with great features. I did not have a good representation of the size until it arrived. I use the pack all the time. Smaller is actually better for my use. I tend to carry too much weight in a pack.

EDC pack
EDC pack at its best, whether you are hiking, or at the office it's small enough for the job. Definitely worth the price.
