Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent, Free of Perfume & Dyes, Powder, 100 Loads, 6.16 lb

I only use powder detergent for warm or hot water washes so I assume it dissolves easily, but cannot say for cold water washes. It is free of dyes and perfumes, so it’s very gentle on the skin. I’ve had no complaints about itching or irritations from its use. So far it cleans very well, towels were brighter and softer just from the detergent alone. It was good size for the cost but I will need more to fill up my containers. Not sure about it being environmentally friendly as I didn’t look at that but it works well.

I recently switched from a top load washer to a front load washer, and my old detergent wasn't getting successfully washed out of my laundry.This laundry detergent washes my clothes and washes out of my laundry. I particularly like that it is unscented. Will continue buying for as long as they continue making it.

This is an effective and economical detergent. The unscented powder leaves clothes smelling clean (no bo or other odors) but no scent. If you haven't read of the health threat from scented problems, check it out because those scents made from petroleum are not healthy.Also please note how little detergent it take for a wash. It only takes about 2 tablespoons for a load of laundry. If you divide it unto that giant box, you will see how much cheaper it is than pods. It is an awesome value for a detergent that is kind to your lungs and the environment.

This brand of Free and Clear Laundry Detergent is new to me. I like it just as much as my usual laundry detergent--which isn't made in powdered form anymore now that there is a conversion to detergent sheets, instead. The Arm and Hammer powdered detergent is also very good as a scouring cleanser. It is sodium based and it is comparable to a cleaner that contains pumice. Even though it is fragrance free it still has a pleasant fresh scent. I also like how inexpensive it is and that the delivery is super fast, too.

This is good detergent and good size for the money. It works well to get clothes clean. I haven't noticed any lingering smells, clothes smell clean. You do have to add the powder to the washer while the water is filling and before adding clothes (for top loading washers). This allows the detergent to dissolve enough and prevents clumps of detergent being left on your clothes. I like that this product comes in a recyclable package. Also, no microplasts is a huge plus.

Difficult to find powdered detergent in any local stores. Have bought multiple times. Good value for money. Cleans well and is good on sensitive skin.

The only detergent I use now. Leaves clothes soft. Effective on stains. Comes in a recyclable cardboard box, no plastic used. Some other detergents I've used make my skin itch, Arm & Hammer Laundry Detergent, Free of Perfume & Dyes does not. Large box lasts a long time.

I do not understand the other reviewers who complained about residue or the soap not dissolving in their washers. I have been using it for months and I am very happy with how it cleans my clothing and have never experienced a residue on my dark cloths and soap has never failed to dissolve in the washer. Additionally, the amount you need to use to wash a load of laundry is very minimal if you follow the guides on the scoop.
