I bought these to "uplight" a Tiki carving I have in the backyard. I love them so much!When I first turned them on (in daylight) I was disappointed that the color-change function wasn't random. It looked like solid red, then blue, then green, for both lights simultaneously. But - when I watched them cycle-thru the colors at night - realized that there were also dual-colors shining (2 colors coming out of each light). When you hit the button on a color-combo you like, it will stay that way.So I've provided pics of my Tiki in Pink/Purple, Blue/Green, and Red/Green. It looks WAY cooler than I had hoped. The lights are quite bright - bearing in mind that we are still having long sunny days. The build quality seems very good, so I think they'll last awhile.I am super-happy and I highly recommend!

Never turned on. Dead batteries, possibly.

Easy to install and solar panels give it a good strong charge. Chord long enough to reach past tree shadow. Rotation of colors looks nice. Couldn’t figure out how to get it to stay on one color. Instructions not very helpful but easy to install.

Wiring from battery pack to fist light is ONLY 6-8 inches ! Yes between lights 16 feet, but the battery is practically attached to the first light.

I installed these for accent uplighting against the sides of my house. The solar panels are in direct sunlight all day. The lights work and manage to stay lit all night, but don’t throw much light. I’d say they are just barely adequate for my purpose. If someone wants them for sidewalk illumination they probably would be more suitable. The biggest problem is that after one month, they have lost the ability to project true colors or white light. During the Christmas season, I had them alternating red and green. After the holidays, I tried to switch the lights to just white beams. They would not do it, they projected a bean of green, a beam of red, and a beam of white light from each lamp. I tried other colors, and they were all adulterated with different colors as well, and it was the same on each of the four sets of lights I purchased. This is a flaw with these lights. I wish I’d ordered just the white lights and not the multi-color option.
