Are the sides flat? Or do they taper in?

They taper. A lot. Almost 3/4" different between top and bottom width. What I wanted to be 3" wide is much closer to 2" at the bottom.

I ran out of the silicone pads for the bottoms! Is there a way I can purchase more? Thanks
