Good little battery
I have brought another one for my Dremel as I use the Dremel a lot, as batteries go this one is pretty good and lasts a couple hours before charging.

It appears to be genuine Dremel
Vastly overpriced for what it is, but it charges in about the same time as it takes for a similar battery to discharge during use. So 2 is all you ever need.

Great battery for a great product !
I bought my Dremel 8220 as I am really 'hooked' on the portability of battery power and I am slowly replacing mains tools with battery power.Lithium-Ion batteries have been a game changer in both mobile phone and tools, gone are the days of underpowered and leaky Nickel Cadmium batteries.I have had this on my wish list for over a year now, but I couldn't justify the nearly £70 price tag, so I was overjoyed when I spotted it at £36 mark, add didn't hesitate to buy it.. I would have bought it at the higher price eventually I suppose as spare batteries never go amiss. I make sure I have at least one spare battery for all my battery tools. So now I have a spare to keep my Dremel going, although they seem to really hold there charge even if you don't use then for a few months or more, but the spare means I won't get halfway through a job, then have to stop while I charge the battery up.If you know anyone with a Dremel 8200 or 8220 like me, buy them one as a present and they will really appreciate it.

Simply Extortion.
Absolute rip off.The Dremel tool comes with a load of parts the unit itself a charger and battery. For just over £100. This alone is almost 50 quid. My old one failed and I decided to take it apart. It contains 3x 18650INR Samsung cells that cost about £3.30 each so you can see the mark up on these. I'd imagine with the amount of batteries they make them I'd say it costs no more than £8 to make.OK fine, make a profit but this is simply extortion. I'll rebuild the old one with some cells to see if it works and if it does this will be the last one that I buy...Make money but don't take the ****
