It has an amazing sound just as other people reviewed. There is a bit of timbre that sometimes sounds a bit awkward, but it is generally fantastic pair of earbuds.

I bought these after purchasing the Aful Performer 8 and returning them. The Performer 8 was detailed, but in a way that made the music feel like it was etched into glass or something. It was detailed, but in a way that was clinical and not all that musical sounding. Almost like IEMs for robots or something.The Hype 4 is a different story. Still highly detailed, but buttery smooth and highly musical. The bass is tight, detailed, and relegated to the low frequencies where it belongs. There is no bleed from the bass into the mid-range. It is a role player, and it does its job extremely well. The volume of the bass isn't the first thing that will grab you, but you'll find that on tracks where it is meant to shine (EDM, hip-hop, things like that) it shines.Mid range detail is beautiful. Orchestral music and film scores with strings heavy arrangements sound beautiful. The level of separation and detail you get in a complex instrument section like an orchestra is very realistic and convincing. I wouldn't necessarily call these IEMs mid forward, but the mids are satisfying all the same.The treble absolutely sings. Tremendous detail in the upper ranges, but without any harshness at all. There may be a slight (slight) tilt towards brightness with these IEMs, but don't let that scare you. It's done in a way that is extremely smooth (I can't stress that word enough). Excellent treble detail, but they never sound cold or sibilant.Soundstage is wide and realistic. I've watched movies wearing these and there are sounds that will have me turning my head to see where they came from.I wouldn't have any problem recommending these to anyone looking for an IEM in this price-range.Note: I've been using them with Comply foam 500 series tips. Primary source for listening to music is my Android phone into a Dragonfly Cobalt using bit-perfect streaming to the DAC. When watching movies I connect a Fiio BTR15 to my smart TV and plug them into that.

The Hype 4 nailed my kind of sound, it's full and rich while still maintaining great clarity. I would absolutely recommend these IEMs!

Der Bass ist mit einem Verstärker sehr präsent aber nicht aufdringlich oder muddy. Die Höhen und die Mitten werden auch sehr gut dargestellt. Ich bin super zufrieden. Verarbeitung ist top und Optik auch.

Fin dallo spacchettamento sono rimasto colpito dalla qualità costruttiva di questa iem. La Shell è di altissima qualità e molto particolareggiata (allego foto). Sicuramente alla thieaudio sanno il fatto loro in termini di costruzione e qualità dei materiali utilizzati, con ottime dote artistiche.La linea 'Hype" è composta dal modello 4 oggetto della recensione e da altri due modelli: il 2 e il 10. Quello che cambia tra i vari modelli è il numero di drive (speakers) utilizzati e la loro configurazione. La hype 4 utilizza 6 speakers per lato (2 dinamici in configurazione Isobarica per i bassi e 4 armature bilanciate sonion per la gamma media e alta) gestiti da un crossover a 3 vie che garantisce la separazione delle bande di frequenza. La Hype 10 ha più speakers e presumobilmente un suono migliore, ma dalle recensioni online sembra che sia marginalmente migliore a fronte di un esborso più che doppio, questo rende la hype 4 molto interessante da un punto di vista di qualità prezzo.Come suonaInizio col dire che la qualità audio è assolutamente stellare.Iniziando dalla presentazione, il suono presentato in maniera particolare, con una combinazione caldo/analitico che rende queste hype 4 molto dettagliate e musicali allo stesso tempo. Probabilmente come suono potrebbero rientrare nella categoria neutral con bass boost / leggermente U shape. I bassi, scendono tantissimo e sembra quasi di avere un subwoofer miniaturizzato nell'orecchio. Sui pezzi di elettronica o basso elettrico è davvero piacevolissimo.Sulle voci è davvero impressionante: corpo, calore, altissima risoluzione, pur restando piuttosto neutri. Per trovare qualcosa che posso paragonare devo valutare solo la Focal Clear di tutte le cuffie che ho a casa. Gli alti offrono quell'accento che dona presenza pur restando mai affaticamenti o sibilanti.La caratteristica più distintiva di questa Hype 4 è la piacevolezza di un ascolto appagante, musicale, ma allo stesso tempo tecnicamente impressionante.Potrei integrare un paragone con le Etymotic er4xr ma siamo su due pianeti diversi. Le Sony xm5 che pur trovo ottime complessivamente, non reggono minimamente il paragone. Dopo un paio di giorni si hype 4 ho rimesso le Sony e ho trovato il suono semplice, poco dettagliato e limitato agli estremi di banda.Difetti:bassi importanti, non per chi cerca la massima neutralità sonora.Medio-alti leggermente accentuati,Nel bundle avrei preferito una migliore tips selection.Concludendo, valgono tutti i soldi che costano. È un prodotto particolare di altissima qualità che gli appassionati audiofili sapranno apprezzare, oltre perché impressionanti dal lato tecnico anche per la presentazione sonora ricercata e particolare che hanno.
