The nuts are packaged in plastic inside the burlap, and I assume there is an expiration date. I can't recall, but they were very fresh and didn't last long!

Are these actually extra large or same size as usual pistachios?

I'd love to say they are extra large, but they are not. I too was disappointed in the size, considering the price. I would say they are average in size.

Cross contamination free of other nuts??

We haven't found anything except excellent pistachios
