Bicycle Suspension Seat Post, 25.4mm/27.2mm/28.6mm/31.8mm/33.9mm Alumium Adjustable Seatpost Suspension Seat Post for Most Bicycle Mountain Road Bike MTB MTN BMX Electric Bicycle

First ride of 2025 on March 10th. I bought the 28.6mm which is the correct size for the VIVI C26UL. I specifically bought this hinged seat post because it was designed fore ebikes like mine where the hinged seat must be lifted out of the way to remove the battery. The lever had to be drawn through the back of the saddle that came with the bike as the sweep of the lever does not drop as low as the lever of the stock seat post. Still it works just fine. As for the ergonomics and actual function. I wish there was more travel, but this seat post does make for a slightly more comfortable ride. The difference is subtle, but noticeable. If you were hoping for full suspension, sorry, this is not that, if you have a front suspension and no rear suspension, this will add a slight bit of suspension at the saddle of your hard tail ebike or bicycle. I weigh 160 lbs and set it to its greatest level of movement. This is my first saddle suspension so I have nothing else to compare it with. All I can say is that it does improve ergonomics and at least with upright riding, it will lessen the wear and tear to your spine. I will definitely be looking at purchasing different replacement springs, but for now, I remain very happy with my purchase. I plan on buying more of these. Hope this helps some one else thinking of buying.

I needed a longer e-bike seat post. The old one bent. This was 6-7” longer AND it has an internal shock/spring, so it’s more comfortable. The tilt mechanism works fine to aid in removing my battery. Good value and quality. Quick install with metric wrenches.

I got this as a replacement for the bent suspension seat post that came with my Vitilan U7. Good shock absorption, and paired with a Cloud 9 seat, I'm able to ride for miles and miles throughout NYC without so much as a complaint. This has made biking, for this 51 year old, fun once again.
