15" Stainless Steel Shoehorn with Paracord Handle

OK—I hate it when people leave a one-star review because of a shipping problem...But.Just as a caution—do NOT let Amazon send this by itself. It’s long and skinny and weighs almost nothing, so unless the seams on the box are COMPLETELY taped, the box will get squashed, a seam will gape, and two days later you will get a totally EMPTY BOX.I’m just saying.

I was looking for high quality shoe horns. I purchased two that I thought would suit my purpose. This is one of them. I chose this one because of its length. Sometimes it is just not possible to sit down to put on shoes. On those occasions, when presented with snug shoes that fit your feet, I find a long handled shoe horn is a welcome part of my inventory. I have a smaller 7 1/2 inch stainless steel one that is particularly nice and which I use most frequently. On those occasions when fitting feet into snug loafers and in a hurry or on the go, this one is the one I grab.The blade is stainless steel and long enough to use while standing. The handle is wrapped with paranoid for protection and a good grip. Overall, its not a perfect solution, but I don't use it too often. The blade COULD be a little larger and more rounded, better formed. But it is certainly functional and is just about the perfect length.Good product. Four stars for a sturdy product that is useful and a good value.

This is awesome. I have a pair of Clark shoes that are so comfortable because the back is soft, not stiff. But, the soft back folds under when I put my shoes on so I needed a shoe horn. I had one previously that was two piece. The handle broke right off. This is all one piece and it is awesome. I am buying a second one, one for downstairs and one for up. It is solid and strong and won't bend. I love this shoehorn.

Five stars all the way. Received today. Twice as heavy as metal shoe horns commonly found in shoe stores. Very high quality steel. Put a coat of Turtle Wax on it and huge difference in ease of getting into tight fitting Red Wings compared with the cheap plastic one iveb been using. Much nicer than the Red Wing shoe horn offered at the store for fifteen dollars.

This shoehorn is very well made of solid metal and a "lanyard-wrapped" handle. I am surprised by how heavy-duty this shoehorn is (it has a good weight to it). This product makes putting on shoes, slippers, and even long boots much easier. My husband had back surgery and it works great for him (I also use it all the time). This long handled shoe horn is perfect for getting into boots and difficult shoes without extra effort or difficulty! I love the finish and the paracord wrapped handle in red which makes it very visible and easy to hang with the loop at the end. I have a pair of Sorel Caribou Wool boots and a pair of Merrell low hikers with an extremely tight neoprene opening without a tongue. This perfectly angled implement makes quick work of what used to be a struggle! It is very sturdy and well made and could probably double as a weapon if necessary! It is just long enough to minimize bending over to enter my footwear, yet packable for travel. Good luck at the airport with the TSA screeners 😝 I highly recommend it and the price is right.

Best shoehorn I've used - didn't know shoehorns came this good - very solid and strong - I'm a big guy and routinely worry about breaking dainty show horns - this, no worries. Long enough and wide enough. Might buy another for the other door.

Works very well for my 83 year old mother. She had been using a longer one, but it was so long she couldn't maneuver it well. This is designed for the perfect arm length and rotation needed to get your shoes on. She loves the handle as she can hang it for easy reach and horn slips easily around foot. Great!
