Not really designed to run 24\7\365 !!The one that came with the cooler finally failed, but this was an inexpensive way to keep thing cool in my bedroom without having to buy a mini fridge. It's a named replacement for the portable electric cooler(just a 120v car adapter)

Additional item needed
This item had to be purchased extra in order to allow our cooler to work outside of the car. Im not sure I understood this when purchasing the cooler but works well

It didn't get as cold as it was suppose to
It was cold but I wouldn't risk putting raw meat or milk in it - I don't feel it got as cold as it was suppose to be. I think the adapter to plug in should be included with it.
