Chicago Skates are the best in my opinion! This review is long overdue and I thought I submitted my review.My little princess love to skate however due to the COVID19 I was not taking to the rink, purchase these skates for outdoors , she said they are very comfortable and the color is so girly, the wheels do not stick has some outdoor skates and the price is a good price point.If she not able to wear the skates again next year, I will definitely be purchasing another pair.PS. My Chicago skates are over 20 years plus and I am still rollin with my big red pom pom on my skates.

I bought these, the second pair for my granddaughter. I have to admit, she wasn't thrilled because her first pair of skates were exactly the same. They run very large. I bought the first pair, a size 13, when her shoe size was 12 to 12 1/2. They fit her for 2 years until this summer when her shoe size is 1 1/2. The high tops with laces and Velcro closure means they don't slip even if too large. I feel sure the size 2 I bought will fit her for a couple of years. After I explained to her that I thought since the first pair was enjoyed for so long, we should stay with the same skate until she progressed to in-lines, she was just fine. She is skating now but I highly recommend these for those learning to skate.

This is my 7 year old daughter’s first pair of skates. They are comfortable for her and well made. They don’t hurt her feet at all. They are true to size. My daughter is between a size 1-2 and the 2’s fit her well with a little space.

It's the first pair of skates for my granddaughters. They are a great skate for beginners at a reasonable cost. They both love the skates. Highly recommend helmet and knee pads.

I bought these skates for my grand daughters and they have really gotten a lot of use out of them this summer. The skates roll really well on most surfaces, but especially the sidewalk and indoors on rainy days. The brake is easy for them to use which is located on the front of each skate. The shoe size is a true fit of what I wanted. The skates lace up and have a Velcro strap to help keep the skates on. I feel like I've gotten my money's worth and more with the skates as they've given the kids hours of fun and exercise.

My granddaughter loves them. They are great for beginners because the wheels are slower than on most skates and that gives her more control which gives her more confidence. She uses them on the side walk, patio, and Skating Plus. With the help of a 'skater' (like a walker for skates) she can really buzz around the rink. They are also comfortable, very cute, and seem well-made. She wears a size 1 shoe, so with thick socks these fit her perfectly with space to grow so they will last a while. Reasonably priced, too.

Bought them for my 8 year old who knows how to skate. They work OK. You have to get new wheels and bearings. The wheels are plastic and slide all over the place. Size is about 1/2 size larger than shoe size. Trucks can be adjusted but my daughter isnt heavy enough to make a difference.
