I've heard from so many people about Yorkshire Gold, and how it's, well, the gold standard of black teas. And honestly, I agree! There's probably more premium loose leaf teas and such, but at this price point and accessibility, Yorkshire Gold decisively beats other common brands like Lipton, Tetleys, or even Twinings.The tin is really nice and keeps your tea fresh, but the tea itself is the real star of the show. It's a fantastic and strong black tea, perfect if you take your tea with milk and/or sugar. I would opt for a less strong tea or adding more water if you drink it straight.

This tea brand in my opinion is the best when you’re looking for just a good old cuppa! A little 1/2 & 1/2 and sugar or honey and you have yourself a perfect cup of English tea! It’s the only brand I drink the price point is amazing too!!! The aroma is perfect on a cold damp morning perfect blend of strength and smoothness too!

A good cuppa' and a handy tin to keep it fresh. I guess I was lucky as the tin was in perfect condition - no dings or dirt. I think this tea is better than the red box.I ordered this because we were out of the red box tea and the red box would not be delivered for another 30 days! (Out of stock?)If the price doesn't go up, I'll order again.

A delightful British tea that puts my previous favorite in the back of the cupboard. Bold and sassy enough to stand up to a splash of cream without losing its identity. Just perfect for the mornings I don’t have time for cleaning my teapot after brewing loose leaf tea, yet unwilling to compromise on taste. Great value, and cute reusable canister keeps these teabags fresh and aromatic for months.

Finally, a tea that isn't just brown water with a hint of tea flavor!I'd been drinking PG Tipps tea for more than 20 years and recently noticed the flavor was weaker. Found out that they were bought out by Lipton.After talking with a UK friend, she reccommended Yorkshire Gold tea, "that's all we drink" she said.I love the tin it came in, so nice for storage, and the brew is FABULOUS.A little sugar and milk, if you like, and you have a wonderful strong British black tea!

This makes a nice strong cuppa tea. The taste is superior to another popular British brand. I steep my tea for 7-8 minutes and the tea doesn't get any bitter taste to it. It did not give me any caffeine jitters even when enjoyed for a mid-afternoon cup of tea. This was a pleasant surprise after years drinking another brand of British black tea.
