Best product I ever bought!
At first it seems that there will only be enough solution for the front, but it turns out there was enough to do my roots on my whole head - and I have a lot of thick hair. Also stayed where I placed the solution so it did not cover up my blond parts. It has lasted longer than any other root product. Price is great. The instructions only said to rinse out solution, but I shampooed and conditioned and it did not rinse out. I can't believe what a great product I finally found.

I Like This Product
Claire Touch Up is easy to use, matches my hair well & keeps the grays covered for 2-3 months. I purchased a color lighter than my hair & used it to highlight. It worked very well.

Defective - never happened before!
It did NOT color my hair. The product (before application) was darker in color and had granules in it. Therefore - DEFECTIVE. Never before has this happened with this Clairol Root Touch-Up, and I have used for years. I have in the past had success. The product was darker than usual and had granules in it. Amazon will not take a return for the other 3 boxes I purchased. My purchase date was Oct 30 and my attempts at a return was Jan 2. Frustrated.

Very little solution even for root touchup
If you really want to cover all of the white roots that start appearing about 3 weeks post-color, there won't be enough liquid in one application of this to do the job. It'll get the main parts but not all the part that show white. I was disappointed. While I didn't expect the volume of a full-head color application, I didn't expect it to be so little. It's hard to get it exactly where you want it so some is wasted if you have a lot of hair to part to get to the white roots.
