Is the plastic membrane pvc or archival non-vinyl? wondering if it will damage coins and metal over time.

Not sure of what it's made of but I do know that it says it won't damage coins etc

I am fairly sure it will. Silver dollar fits easily.

Can you hang the case on the wall?

Yes you can and it looks very nice, maybe use clear tacks so the tack doesn't stand out. I would recommend hanging by a corner so the frame looks like a diamond. So far it has stayed fastened shut.

Is there a larger wall display version of this for objects with more flat surface area? I'm looking for something like this to display a lanyard.

I have long ones so I’m looking at mine but if you double it up
