A very presentable stool
This was a very easy to assemble chair. It's durable and sturdy. It was bought as a Xmas present for my daughter who is a hairdresser and she really liked it. It's well presented and I like the colour and velvet fabric.

Perfect!
I was looking for a dressing table chair that was higher than a traditional stool and this is absolutely perfect! I can raise it when using and then lower so it sits underneath when not in use. It’s really comfortable to use but best of all it looks gorgeous too. I would buy again without hesitation.

Just perfect for the job
I have a piano in the bedroom and wanted something ascetically pleasing to go with it. This definitely fits the job. It was quite easy to put together, just a few bolts, everything included. It is a nice height but I have purchased a round cushion that fits well as I do not want the cream colour of the chair to dirty. Great height for purpose and I thoroughly recommend for a dressing table or like for me a piano stool

Great design with a sturdy construction
I would have given the chair 5 stars as it would be worthy of that should I not have had a problem with the simple assembly. Unfortunately one of the holes leading to the internal screw in stud was out of line making it impossible to screw the bolt into it without cross threading it. Being an engineer all my life I immediately identified the problem and could see that I wouldn't have to cut away too much of the surrounding solid plastic on one side to allow the bolt to go in straight. I done this and the bolt went in easily. I really didn't want the agro of returning it especially as I believe it comes from Germany. I hope that mine was a one off . So my advice is firstly check the frame that screws onto the bottom of the seat and that all four bolts can screw in easily.
