Does not stain or hurt clothes at all, leaves them soft and smelling amazing. In the bottle it smells a bit strong of vanilla but in use with other detergent it’s a great compliment to any scent you could use! Comes in huge bottle!

This has a light scent. It makes my towels smell so good and fresh. Works well.

These downy beads give a soft and cozy scent to our towels, without irritating my allergies.The only issue is — they run out too quickly because I want everything in my house smelling like them…My mom would never believe it, but there is a way to make me want to do laundry!

Of all the scenes they make this is the best. IMO. Really is warm & cozy!

I am NOT one who adds 'extra's to laundry. We tend to use natural products when washing knowing their consistent contact with our skin.Well... I smell this at a store and got the trial and fell in love!Found a nice big bottle on Amazon and purchased. Add a top full to the water and soap prior to putting clothing in. MIx with different laundry scents (I use ZUM).No issues with sensitivity to our skin.

Smells great but once my laundry was done I smelled it and the scent didn’t really smell all that different I washed on hot and coldOne load I did the beads didn’t melt so I had to re wash on warm , but that could have been my fault cause I wasn’t sure if it had to be used of a specific hot or cold setting. Bottle was huge I say great value for money.

Downy Comfy Cozy has a nice, pleasent, not overwhelming smell that seems best suited for winter and bedding, but certainly isn't too overwhelming or feminine for general use. The main reason I bought this larger container of the product after getting a small sample at the grocery store is the effective in-wash softening that leaves clothes feeling cleaner than dryer sheets or liquid softeners nearly as effective of softening.I usually use about 1/4th of a cap in my medium size horizontal washer, and add it just after the wash cycle is done. The instructions say to add with detergent, and suspect it works nearly as well when used this way, but I add one step later to let the detergent do it's thing. It seems like doing this also maximizes the smell/softening with less product, with a bit less being washed away with the dirt and detergent.
