Just be careful when using it
It feels cheaply made. But it works great. Just add ice and salt, and spin it for a few minutes. Then you get a nice ice cold drink.

Beyond WORTH IT!
This thing is incredible, it is unbelievable how icy cold the can will get after 2 mins of spinning. Really easy to spin it as well. I don’t think there’s anything else on the market that can chill a can that fast. 1 minute of spinning is more than enough.Absolutely love this item. Bought 2 more. This one’s an easy buy.

This works, but there are some things to know
This works because you're moving the liquid in the can/bottle around (without shaking it up) so that it keeps coming in contact with the cold. So the goal here is twofold: get something cold around the can/bottle...ideally something that is a good conductor of heat, and then move the liquid in the can/bottle around to make as much contact as possible. The device does great at the moving part. But it's sealed up poorly, so you're stuck either just putting in ice (not ice water) as the directions state ...but that's not a ton of contact area, or putting in ice water (which maximizes contact with a good heat conductor) but either using a very shallow bath, or getting water on your counter.I would have loved for them to have made this a bit bigger, so it didn't need the cutout for the bottle neck) and then had a water tight tub so you could fill it with ice water rather than just ice cubes. I think that was a missed opportunity for a thing that otherwise works very well.Anyway, if you're still reading - this will cool a can from uncomfortably warm (78 degrees) to comfortably drinkable 45 degrees in 60 seconds of spinning. Keep going for another 30 seconds and you'll drop it down into the 30s if you want that type of crispy beverage. So, it ABSOLUTELY works to chill your beverages faster than any other method I'm aware of, I just feel like there were some missed opportunities to go from good to great in the design.

No more warm drinks
We've been getting so much use out of this. I try playing a psychological game with myself where I don't keep my Pepsi in the fridge so I'll drink less. That either means I need ice, I need to plan ahead, or I toss it in the freezer for a bit and hope I don't forget. This thing takes care of all my problems. It does take a few minutes where you fill it with ice(I like crushed) then just spin it for a minute or two and boom; ice cold drink. You'll figure out the right amount to fill it after a few tries but because the crank end slides in from the top and the suction cup is flexible it's pretty forgiving. As the ice melts you can slide the crank down a little too. There are gears in there too so you can spin slower and the drink still moves pretty quick. It's nice that they include a cover but honestly I never use it because its done so fast. I do appreciate the different sized drinks that can be accommodated but for me it has just been 12 oz cans and it's has worked great. It is all plastic however I've never felt any particular part was made to cheaply to hold up to the job for many uses.

Great idea, poor execution
This is a really good idea to cool down drinks and I was so excited to get one finally. I have been cooling my drinks for a while now in an old tupperware container by adding ice and water and spinning the can with my hand and they cool down really fast.Unfortunately there are a few flaws that really make this hard to use. First is with a regular can of soda I can barely get any ice cubes in around the drink because this is too narrow. It does work a little better with crushed ice but still not great. If I add a little water it ends up leaking out of the container and makes a big mess. With these two flaws it takes quite a bit longer to get the dink cooled down.It does have a nice simple mechanism for spinning the drink and it doesn't even lose any carbonation.it looks really nice and is a beautiful color and it seems to be made of nice materials that should last.

A fun way to cool your drinks.
This gadget definitely isn’t a must-have, but when the craving for an ice-cold drink strikes and you don’t feel like waiting for the freezer to do its thing, it’s surprisingly fun to use. With a bit of effort—and as long as you don’t overcrowd the bin with ice—it does the job well. Watching your drink get colder and colder as you crank it feels oddly satisfying. As a one-off novelty gift, or even as a creative way to get the kids to put in a little manual labor for their refreshment, this can turn into an entertaining experience. The best part? After working for their reward, they’ll end up with the perfect chilled beverage. It’s not the most serious solution to rapid drink cooling, but for what it’s worth, it’s actually quite fun once you get going. And if you add a little table salt to the ice, you can push the temperature down even further. When you add salt to ice, it makes the ice melt faster. But melting ice absorbs heat, so as the ice melts, it pulls heat away from your drink, making it colder, faster. So, a little salt helps the cooling process work better and quicker!Features:Removable insert—accommodates longer bottles or standard soda cansManual crank cooling—chills drinks without electricityCompact and portable—great for outdoor use and gatheringsFun, interactive experience—turn the crank and watch your drink cool down
